  Perfect

  We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and it was perfect for our holiday. It had everything we needed, was clean, comfortable, modern, well supplied, and the pool was lovely. Great location. Will stay again for sure. Thank you!!

  3 Night Getaway

  We had a 3 night stay at Mowbray by the Sea it was everything we needed. Rooms were clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a short break with two teens. Pool was great and situated nice and close to the beach. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Was nice and quiet. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms fully equipped kitchen, laundry and fantastic balcony with table and chairs to sit and eat meals at was awesome. We even got to see a Barn Owl in the tree from where we sat on our balcony. The complex is kept clean and tidy. Great place to stay and relax.

  Mowbray by the sea

  Stayed for 3 nights at this great place. Perfect location - 100 metres away from 4 Mile Beach and a 5 minute walk to Macrossan Street with its many cafes and restaurants. Very relaxing and well appointed apartment, and the manager was very helpful. Highly recommended.

  All the wow factor in one.

  We stayed at Mowbray By The Sea for the 2nd time early this year for a much needed family holiday. The place is as good as I remember. We had a 2nd level apartment that had everything one might need and more. The team that looks after this place made sure what you get inside is what you may find in their own home - well looked after kitchen items and amenities, comfy beds and tidy surrounding. The pool is always a treat, too. The location - great at being so close to the beach, shops and the many wonderful restaurants but still out of all the noise the middle of the town might have during busy times. The staff - Martin, Theresa and Lisa are all wonderful hosts. They were most helpful with the tours and activities we have finally had the chance of exploring this time around. Port Douglas has become our go-to happy place and Mowbray By The Sea surely is our favourite home away from home.

  One Of The Best In Port Douglas Accommodation !

  I could not speak more highly of 'Mowbray By The Sea' and owners Martin & Theresa. Mowbray is an affordable 4+ Star Rated Accommodation with 5 Star Service and is in the best location in Port Douglas right next to the beach and 3 mins from the main St, Macrossan Street. I chose Mowbray again for my 6th stay because it continues to tick all the boxes and is by far the right choice. I have been coming to Port Douglas for 26 years now and would not stay anywhere else. The rooms are very spacious & clean, 2 newly renovated bathrooms, Foxtel, large flat screen TV, free Wi Fi, comfy couches, well appointed kitchen, cold fridge, 3 air con units, awesome pool that is currently getting a facelift and spa, comfy bed and more !.....all you need is your groceries from the local Coles and you are set. When I arrived Martin & Theresa greeted me with a warm welcome and when I opened the door to an already Air Conditioned Apartment with attention to detail evident throughout, I noticed that they even provide you with beach towels, thank goodness because I had forgotten mine again ! I would like to thank Martin & Theresa who were very warm, friendly genuine, caring and helpful throughout our stay as well as assisting me to decide on the many tours to choose from with their local knowledge and the best day weather wise to hit the Reef for some snorkelling, these guys went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and happy throughout my stay. You will love this place, the location and your hosts Martin & Theresa will definitely make your stay a memorable one...why pay more for something less comprehensive. I will definitely be back
