    Beautiful architecture, Very interesting experience, However, URINE-stained toilet

    I came here with my wife for under a stay-cation package for one night, and I found this hotel to be really unique -The designs and architecture are middle-eastern themed, it's beautiful. The vibes of being in a Mediterranean country, the pool seemingly like a beautiful oasis in a desert -Highly compliant to Islamic teachings - no alcohol served (which is great for me since I don't drink alcohol). The beautiful pools are separated by gender however, so I couldn't have the opportunity of swimming with my wife. The room was spacious, and most beautifully designed. As an AccorHotel Silver member, I received the free welcome drinks . The receptionists were prompt and readily attending to us guests. The issue that gives this 5 star a rating of 3 for me was the discovery of our toilet being stained by urine (picture attached). that was rather disturbing for my wife and myself. What made things most difficult was reporting this to the reception 3 consecutive times, each mentioning that they would send room service to clean the bathroom, in which it wasn't done until the third time (maybe due to the confusion of where the stains were, which was underneath the toilet seat). That aside, this hotel is beautiful and spacious. Breakfast was not as varied as I expected it to be, but the food was pleasant to the tongue. If I wanted a quick getaway near KLIA, I could perhaps come here again; hopefully without the urine stained toilet seat.

    Not good - but as good as Sama Sams for 1/2 the price

    The hotel reception is very nice, very bright and airy. Much better than Sama Sama which is double the price. We were offered an instant upgrade and staff were nice. The room however was not the best, it was smelly, not very clean and generally disappointing. We checked in, then went out. When we returned someone had been in our room - we knew this as the toilet was left clear, when we returned someone had put a pink tissue in it! So God knows what that was about! It is ok for what they charge.... we only stayed 10 hours so was double, but I would not want to stay any longer

    So disappointed

    New hotel that felt it was 10+ years old. A strange eeie feel to the place with no lights on in its vast empty space. Room looked nice but actually was full of problems to operate. We had to move out of the first room to another as taps broken and couldn't turn off shower, bath couldn't full due to lack of hot water and shower flooded to the adjacent toilet area etc. Not convenient, no apology or compensation. We constantly has issues with AC and cleanliness. High cost for extra beds to accommodate family on rollaways. Food extremely average. We were constantly reminded how we were being over-charged with promo's on the hotel TV screens. Pool area was saving grace albeit it there was a sign that said it was closed even though it actually wasn't which we clarified by walking all the way back to reception.

    Bad experience and poor service

    Firstly, there was a long checkin queue, then the wait to be informed of rooms availability by the reception staff. Even though I had checked in online much earlier. In total, I had to wait almost 3 hrs to finally checked in to my room. The next problem was the rooms Aircond system which wasnt working as I was feeling like in an oven with room ambient temp of 27degC even though the auto set temp was 18degC. This ambient temp was throughout the nite, which really affected everyones sleep. Overall, this bad services was my worst throughout my ACCOR hospitality experience. Really hope the Management look into this case positively, in particular to the frontline staff in handling crisis management, when the Manager in charge was no where to be seen.

    It should be lower than 1 star

    Despite the welcoming and check in are prompt and friendly, the air conditioner is indeed the major issue. We asked for additional fan but they informed that no fan is available. We have no choice but to move to another room at 11.22pm. The night reception was poor, room change was arranged by the maintenance staff instead the front service. The air conditioning still having 26.5 deg whilst it has been adjusted to 18. Whilst I have to travel for 20 hrs the next day hoping to stay at the airport hotel to gain a good rest before long haul flight, I should not choose to stay at this hotel. There are a few recent travelers had the same poor experience but the hotel does not take any action to resolve the problem. There is no weighing scale provided in the bathroom even for Deluxe room. The reception informed that all scales have been sent for calibration. Movenpick, highly disappointed and regretful for choosing this hotel. Needless to say, no more second time.
