5-Star Oceanfront Oasis in Hua HinMövenpick Asara Resort & Spa Hua Hin encapsulates a truly 5-star oceanfront resort experience in every facet. Service - Extremely attentive to every detail. From the check-in we noticed that the hotel has implemented the 'new normal' standards and provide minimal touch points at check-in. Smooth, efficient and friendly. It's heartwarming to see smiling staff who are eager to assist you in anyway. Upon check-in, we were escorted to our Pool Villa by a buggy. We couldn't not fault a single staff, from the bell boy to the waitresses at the restaurants to the management (especially Khun Sven and Khun Chadaporn). Route to Villa - Narrow lush trails of trees make this itself an enchanting experience as we approached our abode within the resort. Excitement filled the air for what was to come next. Pool Villa - This contemporary style villla is very well designed with a separate living room, bedroom area, working table, all the basics (safety box, slippers, bathrobes), large cupboard space, a soak tub, indoor and outdoor showers, and a dip pool. The room is airy wth large sliding doors that open to a lush garden and lots of sunlight. The colors and tones of the walls and curtains are warm and evokes a feeling of serenity and calm. The villa was also emaculately clean. The shower water pressure and drainage system was excellent. Morever, the liquid soap they use has a familiar peppermint scent and easily washes off. These subtleties are always appreciated. Wifi - Fast, stable and reliable throughout the resort make this a viable destination to work away from the cities hustle and bustle. A quick escape to this resort is always on the cards. Breakfast in villa - Enjoyed breakfast served to the room. We had a mix of both American and Continental options available. Crispy bacon, eggs Benedict, sausages, etc. Special mention: if you request for crispy bacon, they make them perfectly thin and crispy. The holaindase sauce on the eggs benedict also had a great balance of flavors. We looked forward to breakfast in the mornings. Chocolate hour - Everyday between 3 pm to 4 pm we enjoyed chocolate hour where Movenpick treats in-house guests to complimentary artisinal chocolates. This was a wonderful 'sweet' touch to the experience at Asara. Kampu Restaurant - This international restaurant enjoys the width of the resort. Dine while enjoying the warm breeze from the sea as the decident food caresses your palate. They use an online QR menu which reduces touchpoint while saving paper which is always nice. We enjoyed the basil and minced chicken (kraphao gai) and phadthai (with shrimp) as well as an awesome Movenpick rasberry and strawberry sorbet as a perfect palate cleanser. The grounds - We enjoyed sunset swims by the large oceanfront swimming pool which spans across the width of the resort. We did notice that they also had a fitness room available for use. Afternoon Tea - Sandwiches, pastries, chocolates, coffee macrons, and more. A quick nibble by the swimming pool at the Sala makes for a enjoyable wave of flavors by the oceanfront. Baan Dam - as you approach there Thai Seafood restaurant a warm yet vibrant vibe fills the air. The restaurant is set on an oceanfront lawn with minimalistic decorative elements and a chilled ambience. There is a little stage set up with local artists singing to classics. The set up was perfect for a chilled or romantic night out with excellent service and of course the food! We had pineapple fried rice (the best we have taste to date), crab curry, stir fried morning glory (phak boong), tamrind shrimps (Goong Makham). We couldn't fault a single dish. A perfect balance of flavors and authentic Thai. In fact, each dish tasted like a glorified version of street food. We would to thank the entire team for making this a truly unforgettable stay.

Lovely StayWe had come to this resort for dinner last year and thought we would take a short two-night holiday to try the accommodations. We were very happy with the decision. Upon arrival we were met by Pam at reception. She welcomed us to the resort, walked us through the resorts amenities, and personally escorted us to our room, a one-bedroom private villa with a pool. She gave us a great first impression, of what would be an excellent stay. We had dinner outside of the resort for the first night but returned to the bar at the resort for a night cap and to take in the sea air. It was there we met Jan who deftly assembled a couple of tasty cocktails and plate of snacks. We returned to the bar the following night just to see Jan again and try one of her well-made drinks. Breakfast the first morning was A-la carte, which was a bit of a disappointment, albeit understandable. We are still in the time of COVID, and this was a Monday during the low season. The service was clearly stretched to their limits. Luckily, Sao and Bella were there. These servers put the whole morning service on their shoulders, and made sure everyone was accommodated, well fed, and satisfied. After breakfast we decided to try the Spa for their Siam Heritage Couples package. It was very relaxing and we both got some deep sleep. Our therapists were Nana and Muen, and we cannot recommend them enough. Dinner the second night was at their Ban Daam restaurant. We were served by Jane and Aom, who were friendly, attentive, and helpful. The food was delicious, we recommend the Pla Meuk Tad Diew (fried squid with dipping sauce), and the Seafood Pad Cha (a spicy seafood dish served on a cast iron skillet). The only downside was the 500 THB Uncorking Fee we had to pay to enjoy our bottle of wine. We were the only two people in the restaurant so a plus for extra service. After dinner it was back to kick it with Jan and off to bed. In conclusion, great stay, great staff. I love a place where the staff take the time to learn your name. I was greeted in every corner of the place with "Hello, Mr. Jacob." which will always get major points in my book. I recommend this spot.

Large room with excellent breakfastThe resort is nice with a lot of tree. The layout is quite narrow with lots of walls for the villa. We stay at the suite because we don't our our vacation stuck in the high wall. The room is nice and comfy with large bathroom. There are 2 large swimming pool but it's too depth (1.6M) for our family to really enjoy the fun together. While it's located on the beachfront, but there is no beach in front of the resort. We love breakfast, good quality of food and lots of selection for the breads. On low occupancy dates, they serve a la carte breakfast with good selections. And on high occupancy days, the resort operates buffet line. I tried the spa and quite disappointed. The price is high, but the overall experience is not good.

Great Staff and fantastic PoolWe stayed for a whole week. From Checkin, the cleaners and the Room Service, all staff were fantastic. A special Thank you to Sao and Nanny, from the Breakfast Team. They we very friendly and helpful. The pool area is fantastic. You have different pool. One nice pool for swimming, 20M or maybe 25M long and 1.70M deep, a relax pool 1.40M deep and a kids pool 60cm deep. We enjoyed almost everyday the room service and we can really say all the food we ordered were great. Should I be in that Area again, I will comeback for sure. As a All-Accor Member I got all my benefits.
