  Amazing hotel

  What a great hotel to be.Amazing clean rooms,most of them with nice view.I enjoyed my coffee in the morning at my balcony,just watching the nice view of the mountains.Great service from kind personnel.There is a nice poll where you can enjoy a swim.For me the highlight is the coffee area where is a round large room with a 360 view of the area.There you can enjoy your coffee or your drink or even your lunch/dinner. Great value for money hotel

  A big disappointment

  The large Mousaki Palace Hotel looks outwardly quite pleasing. A large parking area is available. However, due to irregularities in its financial management, the hotel cannot be recommended. Although the room could be cancelled up to the day of arrival the credit card was immediately charged the amount of 30 instead of just authorizing it. At check-out the document about this charge could not be found. Only after our written complaint the hotel apologized and refunded the overpaid amount. But the hotel also increased the price of breakfast indicated on the booking voucher arguing that a few weeks had elapsed since the booking. We have never experienced such petty behaviour in any hotel in Greece or anywhere in the world. The hotel is located on a hill just outside the town of Mousaki. From the large hotel restaurant, you have a beautiful view of the town and the surrounding mountains. Reception at the front desk was friendly. Our room was on the second floor, accessible via a lift and a few stair-steps. It was spacious and had a balcony, too. Air conditioning, mini bar and a safe were available, we just missed a kettle. The bathroom was sufficiently big with the shower integrated into the bathtub which made access uncomfortable. The outdated small tubes TV did not offer any foreign programmes. The Wi-Fi in the room turned out to be extremely slow. Lighting in the room was poor, as two light bulbs were broken and had not been replaced. The hotel has a large outdoor swimming pool, which could not be used in October due to the low night temperatures. However, there was a small indoor pool with integrated massage jets where both air and water temperatures were pleasant. Mind that the indoor pool is not suitable for children because of its depth. The price level, especially for drinks, was relatively high (for example 330ml Amstel 4 Euro). If you are interested in a bargain, try the inexpensive food and drinks in the tavernas in the centre of Mouzaki. The breakfast was really disappointing. There were no hot dishes which you can expect in a 4-star hotel, and there was only a small selection of cold dishes. Coffee was thin, and the fruit juice tasted artificial.

  Decent hotel with decent service and low quality food

  We stayed for a couple of days.Positioned in a good spot for the area to travel around and see places . The rooms were nice with a clean bathroom.We decided to eat one night in the restaurant which was proven a big mistake..

  Excellent Hotel

  Service , Location , Breakfast , Dinner and Pool were excellent Thumps up to the management and personnel Resort located in the middle of a green forest -20 miniutes away from Trikala (night life shopping) - 30 minutes from Meteora. Big variety on breakfast and dinner Large outdoor Swimming pool and very good indoor pool Large rooms and very clean The only problem was the uphill road to the hotel at night . Need to add nights signs for extra lights

  Very Pleasant Stay

  Nice hotel, with great views of the mountains, friendly staff, and clean and pleasant rooms. The beds were a little too hard for my liking, but that's my personal preference. We enjoyed the indoor pool - small but the water was so warm and soothing, and after a day of sightseeing was nice to relax and unwind in. The restaurant's food was decent enough - nothing great but not horrible. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and when we return will be more than happy to stay here again.
