  Para ser un 5 estrellas es un hotel que necesita ipso facto una reforma integral. Detalles que hacen que su ratio de estrellas no sea el real ( desconchados, focos colgando, rejunteo de baños, etc). No obstante su precio es razonable y está digno 75 aprox/noche ( hay que tener en cuenta la percepción y exigencia desde España para este tipo de hoteles. Esta perfectamente ubicado en el sector 10 de Chandigarh cerca de todas las atracciones interesantes de la cuídad y hay una zona de pequeños coffee shows y restaurantes pequeños alrededor, ademas de los puestos tradicionales de la india. En frente hay servicio de taxi y auto ( tuc-Tuc o isocarros que son la forma más barata de desplazarte en tramos cortos por cuidad) Si os apetecen unas cervezas o licores es mejor comprarlos en frente de la entrada del hotel Un ejemplo, 1 botella de cerveza 33cl kingfisher ( nacional) pasa de 50 IR a 350 IR

  How can this be 5 stars

  I stayed in this hotel with friends and I cannot really understand how can this be still rated 5 stars. The room is old, dirty and humid, with mold bith in the toilet and close to the windows. The breakfast is average low and the corridors to the rooms and the stairs are dirty. We also had an issue with the flights and had to call the air company with an Indian number to a toll free number but noone wanted to help us. I would never recommend it. Or maybe I would, for a 2 star.

  Overnight stay.

  The welcome at the hotel was very unfriendly, no welcoming smiles from the reception staff, it seemed as though we were an irritant not paying guests ! The room was fine with a good shower and comfortable bed, the breafast was good with a wide choice. Outside bar was pleasant although the service was slow.

  Good location n View

  Staying here for past two days. I appreciate the fact that market is just at a walking distance right opposite market. Must have pastry at Capital Bakery which may not look very upmarket but has an Old world charm. That might be the reason for maximum inflow of buyers here. Breakfast at the hotel nothing exceptional- and for that matter I guess in almost all the same category hotel. Normally i really enjoy the kadak chai at the hotel. In this hotel I did not enjoy the masala tea. Most of the plug points you can plug in, but no electrical connection Called for help with TV and Internet connection but they weren't very enthusiastic about helping out. View is nice. Rest is comfortable.

  Comfortable hotel in Chadigarh

  We have stayed at Hotel Mountview before and had been very happy with the place. When we visited Chandigarh again, it was our hotel of choice. There was a warm welcome from the reception staff and we were taken to a quiet room which was well-appointed and clean. We did not have dinner in the hotel [we were visiting friends] but breakfast the next morning offered a good range of food. Security at the hotel is thorough. We would have no hesitation in using this hotel if we are in Chandigarh in the future.
