  Ice filled steps

  I wasnt accommodated for having handicap members of my family that were unable to physically make down into the units... luckily enough I had reservations for other units on the resort which helped me rearrange members of the family because clearly mountain side villas staff wasnt accommodating there handicap rights nor the fact that I needed two units for a large household. Im done.

  Lovely spacious unit

  The unit was very spacious and had everything we needed . The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils, pots ,pans and even a blender. Plenty of beds 8 of us slept comfortably and could probably fit a couple more. Only thing is that none of the doors have locks not even the bathrooms. Also very drafty on the first floor . Overall very nice unit.

  great safety protocols

  Had a great time. skiing was excellent. The now have washers/dryers in the units at Mountainside Villas. Great safety/health protocols through out the resort. All the staff was very friendly. The on-line reservation system for skiing and tubing was excellent and made things faster.

  3 Day Weekend Stay

  My sister-in law and I took our nieces and nephews (6 of us total) to Massanutten for a 3 day weekend. We chose the villas because they were in our budget. Once we arrived, we immediately noticed how much space there was! We loved the open floor concept. We not once felt that we did not have enough space or that we were on top of one another. The dining table is huge as is the kitchen and first floor bathroom. On our first day there we saw a pack of deer right outside of our balcony! We could also see the snowtubing northern lights from our balcony at night. Also, they provide a welcome basket which includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and many more things. We did arrive early and they did not allow an early check-in however the receptionist recommended that we go to the arcade nearby to kill time and our teenagers enjoyed it very much. If you plan on cooking, bring your own pots/pans because everything sticks to the ones that they provide. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need (coffee maker, coffee, utensils, plates, cups, bowls, mugs, etc.). The tv in the living room worked fine for watching cable but when we wanted to watch Netflix or Hulu, it did not work. It kept giving us a message saying system updating so bring DVDs as a backup just in case. Overall, we found our villa to be very clean and it was perfect for what we needed. We would stay here again.

  Fireplace is decorative, not a source of heat

  We were looking forward to having a fireplace during our recent visit, but it turns out the ones in the units are primarily decorative, offering little heat. It's electric, not gas, and was unimpressive all-around. They may look "cozy", but they aren't really. You'll need to rely on forced heat, which produces noise. If you don't care about that stuff, place was fine. Spacious and pleasant.
