  Relaxing trip!

  My husband and I had a nice and relaxing stay at Mountain Lake Lodge. It snowed while we were there, which made everything even more beautiful. We were able to hike to Bald Knob, which was quite an uphill hike, but well worth it. Our room was clean. You can tell that it is an older hotel, but they have tried to do some updating. Having the fireplace in the room is so nice. We had burgers at the Tavern our first night there. The food and drinks were good. We ate at Harvest for lunch, before heading home. The reuben was excellent! We are already planning on a return visit. This time we might bring the kids. We saw several families sledding and our kids would love it. Can't wait for our next trip!

  Beautiful and great staff and food!

  The scenery was beautiful. The food at the bar and restaurant were top notch, we were all very impressed. Great staff too. Everyone was so helpful, accommodating, and friendly. We took a 6 and 4 year old and were worried about there being stuff to do with them during the winter and just playing in the snow was worth the drive!

  The best!!!

  We had such an incredible time celebrating our anniversary here! Beautiful place, and the staff is incredible!! Mike, Kayla, and Whitney were rock star hosts. From great cocktails to cheese doodle face masks, they made us feel like celebrated guests. We also got to explore all the movie spots, which were super cool to see. Well be back, and you should totally stay there. #FreeCheeto #MakeMikeMop

  Anniversary Weekend

  We stayed here for our anniversary weekend. Be advised the road to get to the lodge is very curvy. There was snow on the ground and we had rain/sleet so a little nerve wracking but we have 4 wheel drive. We stayed in the main lodge in a family suite. There are no TVs in the main lodge rooms. Our room was clean, rustic furniture, room with double beds and another with a queen but it seemed smaller than queen. We got the Winter Weekend package so breakfast was included. You had a choice of about 6-7 bfst sand the food and service was very good. Because of the weather we didnt venture out to see the Dirty Dancing landmarks but we will be going back. We got a voucher to stay again since we went in Feb. Hope then to get a cabin. With COVID had to wear masks inside but we didnt outside anywhere. Nice weekend away.

  Quiet lodge

  Lodge is at the top of a 10 min drive up a mountain. Fun seeing some of the sites from the Dirty Dancing movie. There isnt much open this time of the year.... pool closed, most activities closed, lake is drained so not much scenery. The restaurant was not so great and the closest ones are 15-20 min away.... back down the long drive. There are a few hikes on the property you can hike. No AC in rooms so it can get warm at night even with windows open.
