  A must stay in the Adelaide Hills!

  We have had this place on our list for a long time. We were not disappointed. Everything was what you expect from a luxury hotel. The staff were excellent, the room and amenities were fantastic and dinner at Hardys Veranda was amazing. Sitting at the top of the Adelaide Hills it was so relaxing, you could have been in France or Italy or the Napa Valley. The views over Piccadilly Valley are almost from every window, which makes for a relaxing environment. The gardens are rich in history, so take some time to explore them and the Botanical Gardens next door. Will put this back on the list to revisit!!

  Romantic night away

  Such a shame we could only stay one night. I didnt want to leave! We had the coach house loft room which is completely private and separate from the main building. It felt very special. Amazingly comfortable bed and linen and modern bathroom. From the moment we checked in and were greeted with a glass of bubbles to the yummy cookies on arrival and departure we couldnt fault Mt Lofty House. All of the staff went out of their way to help with any of our needs. The building, gardens and view are all magnificent. Cant wait to return in the future and stay longer.

  OMG......this would have to be right up there with experiences both local and international!

  This has been on my bucket list for quite a while, and as it happened, achieved this year! From the moment we met Taylor at the front door, to the moment we departed, we could not fault this wonderful accommodation/ dining experience. Attention to detail is top of their list. Our room was just wonderful, with comfortable bed, comfortable pillows ( which you can purchase!) and a picturesque view. And a bottle of fizz to top it off! The house is just superb, and everywhere you look is something to behold. There is a pool too, if you feel like a swim. Absolutely NOTHING is too much trouble for this outstanding establishment. We will be back, next time we are in South Australia. Thank you to everyone and especially to Taylor. If I could give them 6/5 I would.

  Welcome surprise in the Adelaide Hills

  The facility and the staff could not be more friendly. It almost felt like coming home, even though this was a first ever visit! The dinning room, food and wine are first class and the bar adjacent very intimate. The conducted tour and history of the building was excellent. The upcoming changes and additions sound excellent and will keep us returning for many years, I predict!

  Lofty house in the beautiful Adelaide Hills.

  We left the amazing Lofty house today after 2 nights stay. Our room was beautiful, very traditional , comfy bed , good size room , good size en-suite Mini bar included a bottle of bubbly no charge. 4 course dinner at night was amazing. Nothing was to much trouble For the staff. . Loved the 5 pm tour of the house with Chris & the complimentary champagne was a wonderful gesture. We were also given a hard cover book on our departure With all the information on the house . We highly recommend this hotel.
