  Would not come back

  Even though the staff were accomodating enough, the room looked nothing like the photos. The bed linen was kind of clean, but there were cobwebs in the room and the bathroom was so old, we decided to skip the shower and wait till we were in our next accommodation!

  Simply appalling

  This hotel is a disgrace. It is a seedy, scruffy, tired motel with no facilities or redeeming features of any kind. It looks like it was built in the 1970s and never maintained. there are no staff on site - there is a local number to ring to get someone to come to check in. My wife and I were shocked at what we found. We strongly wish payment had not been in advance.

  Hard to believe that this is a legitimate business

  Read any previous reviews, They all apply. This place is semi derilict and would make a great set for a period horror movie. If you can't get any other accommodation in Mt Gambier go to the next town.

  Dated

  Very old and dated, cant drink the water- so pipes need upgrade, found spider in bed, although room seemed clean enough. No fly screen on window though. Car parking very good. Ground floor units, not all amenities are in use- ie conference room or restaurant.

  Best service ever

  If you are a person who values great service over flash glitz and glamour, then come and stay at the international. From the moment we arrived, we were asked "what we needed and if we were comfortable". We were also asked if we wanted fresh coffee in the morning instead of the condiments in the room. The next morning we surfaced and were brought fresh coffee to our room. Service with a smile. It is hard to find honest and genuine caring managers and staff but you get it here. You don't have to ask, as it is offered here, before you even think of it. Let's be honest about the Motel. It is a bit old and tired but it is clean and spacious. The rooms are being upgraded at the moment and if you, like I said before, want a happy caring experience, then stay here. The staff are so nice I will be telling everyone to stay here.
