  El hotel del terror

  Por donde empezar.... personal del hotel con pocas miras, ni idea de ingles y poco amigables. Habitaciones frias y humedas. Utilizamos el servicio de lavanderia y la ropa salió sucia y mal oliente, la secadora no hace su función, sale mas mojada. La cena UN ROBO A MANO ARMADA, poca calidad, variedad y fria. El personal del buffet pesimo. Después de 18 hoteles a lo largo e nuestro viaje por japón este sin lugar a dudas el peor de todos.

  Dont go for the food

  This caters for big tour busses. Buffett dinner and breakfast. Food was way below average. Managed to find something eatable for dinner, very sad to say not the same for breakfast. Has to survive on coffee. Didnt even have bread to make toast. Would not recommend. Only good feature was the lake across the road.

  Amazing location - great view of Mount Fuji

  The location for this hotel is outstanding. Nestled in the lush forest and within walking distance of the lake you cannot fault it. The room was nice - basic but good. The tatami mat was a nice Japanese touch. The bathroom was quite small - a tall person would not eb able to bath in that shower. I did like the onsen - it was basic but had all the amenities required. The dinner and brekky buffet was good - a good Japanese fare. The highlight was the view of Mount fuji from the restaurant area. Overall a 4 star - had the bathrooms been for a average sized person i would have given it 5.

  Facilities could be improved

  Stayed in this hotel as part of a group tour. We were assigned to the new wing of the hotel, was quite surprised to only have 1 lift for the new block, not very convenient during breakfast or check-in/out time. Smoking room could have been made of glass door or at least has a glass panel just so female smokers dont feel so creeped out if in there alone. There isnt CCTV in the room, and door is lockable from the inside. Unimaginable things can happen. Great breakfast spread and beautiful in the morning nonetheless. Hopefully the facilities will be improved soon.

  No, Thank you!

  Last-minute trip so couldn't get Japanese dinner, all-you-can-eat Crab, sounds good, but the dining hall reeked of crab. Halal Foods for some customers, but so many empty serving spaces, not many choices. Had to ask for vinegar as the Japanese eat crab that way. Only had cold melted butter...Goofed-up our drinks selections, new waitress definitely needs more Japanese vocabulary before employment. Manager made OK. Rooms (beds) very plain but clean. No View. Nothing special. Onsen was nice and hot, but no view. Next morning I realized the humongous lump of clay/paper mache was supposed to be a Mt. Fuji mock-up. But breakfast really grossed me out, we enter the dining hall and there were 30 plates of individually fried sunny-side up eggs (eyes) staring at us. Cold. The cook & staff were chatting and I couldn't get their attention to request an omelet. At least, Mt. Fuji could be seen from the dining hall. The grounds were nice for a picnic and the lake was quiet and serene. Stay only if you get a Steal-of-a-Deal!
