  Cheap and Dirty

  Upon reception (which us across the road at Town and Country), staff were very friendly and welcoming. Pleasantly surprised when entering room.. for $80 as night.. decent size and looked warm and inviting.. but the bathroom... OMG! I don't know when this was last cleaned. Not exaggerating. Toilet was disgusting, there was hardly any toilet paper left on the roll and no spares in site. Lint and pubic hair all over shower and around bathroom floor. Shower head squirts everywhere, including up at the roof! Not a pleasant experience, would not go back nor reccomend.

  Better options out there

  Door did not close properly, carpet stained, aircon very noisy, shower head broken, bad gas smell outside, tv remote was disgusting, shower had a window to outside in cubicle, not sure bedding was fresh??.....

  Excellent

  I had a one night stop over in August 2019. I booked on short notice and received a rate. The staff were exceedingly friendly and obliging. We were allocated a family room which was well appointed and generous in size. I would recommend this motel.

  Overnight stay

  What a fabulous country town, I called the Cobar Town and Country Motel and they were full but also run the Cobar Motor Inn. We had a family room with 1double bed and 2 single beds, room was clean and spaceous. Reception was friendly and to find out that breakfast started at 4am was incredible - caters to the miners in the town and of course keen travellers wanting to start their day early. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again

  On main street but that's all.

  Stayed one night on a road trip. Room was large, close to pub and shops plus the TV worked, that's the positives. The room was dirty and old. Photos show slop on walls and lots of dust. Bathroom was mouldy and dirty. Light fixtures were falling apart. Towels stunk were thread bared, stained and very thin. Best look elsewhere. Consider this a well, the motel across the road is owned by the same people as you have to check in there.
