  Comfortable stay

  I stayed here for 4 nights on a trip around the west coast. I got it on a great price with free continental breakfast included (generous breakfast provision- muesli, weetbix, cornflakes, milk, jams, butter, honey, vegemite, loaf of bread). Owner is friendly and check in/ out was easy. Room is clean and spacious and looks the same as when I stayed 5 years ago which meant theyve maintained it well. Theres shared laundry available (dry/wash) at $3/load but I didnt need to use it. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to others.

  Great place

  Excellent place compared to some of the places weve stayed over our visit in Tas Comfy bed bar fridge fully stocked with local wines. Blown globes but rectified ASAP. Room device sensational. Full amenities you need. Close to town and a must stay while in this area. Great walk into town 12out of 10.

  A plesant stay

  On first impressions, the motel looked a bit rundown. Our room, however, was a pleasant surprise. It was nicely decorated and even had a white orchid as an indoor plant. It opened onto a small garden at the rear with just enough room for a small table and two chairs. The beds were comfortable, and we slept well. The heater worked well, too. A continental breakfast, included in the price, had whole-wheat bread, cereal and milk. There was a toaster but no microwave oven. The cupboards had a wide range of plates and other times. It is slightly out of town compared to some alternatives, but no problem if you have a car. I noticed some walking into town maybe a 15-minute walk. The staff were friendly and very helpful with advice.

  Quiet, Comfortable and Easy Walk to Waterfront

  Our overnight stay was a pleasant surprise. We had a spacious room with a king & single bed. The provisions for our continental breakfast were more than adequate. The little courtyard with a table and two chairs was really nice for sitting outside with a drink after a long day on the road. Comfortable bed, plenty of pillows and good air conditioning. Great takeaway food and a bottle shop just across the road.

  Alright

  For the cost, the rooms were not bad. They do need a freshen up though, and the gardens definitely need some attention. Also, do not take room 1, as there is a spotlight of some sort for the carpark, and it shines in your room all night.
