Great couple of daysWe stayed here for two nights at the end of our French holiday. The family room was big with two bedrooms and a decent shower room. The location was great with a very short walk into the beach. When the tide is out it's rocky but very scenic. The pool area was never crowded and the water was very clean. Decent sunbeds and umbrellas. A short walk into town for plenty of bars and restaurants and you can walk back along the beach. Good location to go out on bikes or running. Not far to anywhere. The north of the island had a great big beach. Breakfast is basic but brought to your room and perfectly adequate. I'd recommend for families.

Regular holiday destination over many yearsLovely setting, with a super pool and within easy reach of the nearby port of La Cotiniere and its many restaurants and shops. Staff are friendly and helpful, you cannot fail to have a wonderful time here at this Motel with its easy parking and superb location. Do not hesitate to reserve, and epecially, ask for a room with a sea view and terrace!

Spotlessly CleanWe stayed for one night and cannot fault this motel. We got a very warm welcome from the start, and were shown our room before we checked in. Our room was a basic one, with a view of the swimming pool. The room was small, simple and functional. It was completely adequate for an overnight stay, and as we said, spotlessly clean! The shower was great, lots of hot water and the towels were clean. The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good for 9 each. It was an easy walk into the main town area, but far enough away to be peaceful. The beach really is just on the doorstep! The pool area looked well maintained, and again, very clean. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic locationThe motel is located a short distance, 10 minutes walk, from the small fishing village of La Cotiniere, where there are shops, bars and restaurants. The motel itself is on a quiet stretch of coast line and is attractively set amongst the sand dunes. The rooms are just a few steps away through the sand dunes from the beach and are in traditional single storey buildings, which are whitewashed with red tiled roofs. Each room has a private terrace with seating. The rooms are spacious with minbar, tv and good storage for clothing. The rooms also have a small area for catering. The modern bathroom has a bath with shower over it and a separate w.c. There is a good sized pool with a small diving board, you don't see those too often. There are numerous sun loungers. The motel is well signed and easy to find. There is ample parking. Overall the motel must have one of the best locations on the island

Fabulous hotel and stunning locationWe returned from Ile d'Oleron just over a week ago. The hotel is right by the beach a couple of minutes past the pretty marina town, La Cotiniere. We stayed in a sea view room which was literally a stones throw from the beach. I would definitely recommend paying the extra for sea view. The beach is glorious although a little rocky for swimming and the sunsets were stunning! The room was spacious and cleaned daily with a comfy bed and modern bathroom. We also had 2 fridges-very handy for chilling the wine! Breakfast was served in the breakfast room overlooking the pool or brought on a tray to your room-a lovely touch. The swimming pool was clean with lots of sunbeds. It was very quiet-very often we were the only people using it. La Cotiniere is a 5 min walk away and has everything you need. Bars, restaurants, patissieres, boutiques and a fantastic fish n chip takeaway! The island is well worth exploring on bikes or in the car. There are bikes routes all over the island and not a lot of traffic so great to see the sights. Unfortunately due to a medical emergency we had to leave a little earlier than planned but would hoghly recommend this hotel and will definitely return soon. Thank you so much to all the staff for an amazing holiday.
