Convenient location and not as bad as describedstop over with my 10 year old daughter and our dog on our way to NB at midnight. I had called before to book the room.Check in is at the Petro Canada. Location was perfect for us in and out of the highway. For 60$ Per night I was not expected more than what I found. Room 22 is tired looking, very old, but both bathroom and bedroom were clean. Bed sheets were fine ans smell clean. Room was at a comfortable temperature and had 2 double beds, a bar fridge, tv, small closet, table & chairs as well as a desk with a coffee pot and a set to make 2 cups and free wifi . Tim Hortons is across the parking lot which is handy as no breakfast included with the room. We read reviews before booking, reviews were so bad we were positively surprised as we were expecting worse.

At least pet friendlyI can not recommend. However it is clean(ish) and modern(ish). To stop for a night on your way is fine, but do not plan a week here. The atmosphere is like the movie: Leaving Las Vegas. I was happy to leave. Oh, and we found the key in the gas station.

Just passing through, did the trick.Motel is old and dated, but was clean (which is the most important part). The beds were ok, linens were clean. The room had good wifi, a fridge, coffee maker and microwave. We were just passing through and only spent one night. Check in is at the gas station out front. The parking lot is extremely busy in the morning because of Tim Hortons.

Adequate at bestA classic case of "get what you pay for". This motel is cheaper than most other options in the area. It also had availability at the last minute which is why we booked it. It is very conveniently located and the noise of the window a/c drowns out any highway noise! It was cleanish - as an old, never updated, motel can be. Dark, depressing rooms so if you want anything other than a place to lay your head, this is NOT the place. The bed (double) was comfortable enough, water pressure was good in the shower. TV and wifi worked well. Tim Horton's shares a parking lot but it was the worst Tim's I have ever visited. Unfortunately, this is your only eating option in the immediate area. $100 gets you a fair sleep and shower.

Tired old motelFirst the positives. The bed linen was clean, the bathroom was clean, the water was runnung, the electricity worked, it is pet-friendly, it had wifi. Now the low-down. This is a run-down 60s like motel. If you arrive so tired that you dont notice anything, just crash, when you wake up in the morning, its too late to worry about anything. If not: electricity is distributed via octopuses, the air conditioning unit hangs in the window and the gaps are filled with plastc, paper and silicone, and it does not work (only the fan works). The old curtains are partially held off the fan with a womens plastic hairclip. The toilet is so small it must be a midget design, it fails to flush properly. The soap dispenser at the bathtub wad empty. The small spider, between the shower head and wall, looked securely established. Various notices pasted around the room, main concern: $50 fine for smoking in the room. The door is ramshackle, despite the thin chain it could be pushed down with little force. The decor is ancient and tasteless, holes in the carpeting, small table and desk ill-fitting, simply plunkt there. One small coffemaker with one packet of coffee, of a quality that should not be offered to anyone. And, the place seems to run by absentee management. My advice: keep driving to Riviere du Loup or Edmundston.
