  Genial!!

  Llegamos muy tarde y sin avisar. Todo estaba preparado: una nota en un sobre explicando cuál era nuestro apartamento en recepción y otra a la entrada del apartamento . El apartamento nuevo , moderno y muy completo. Una terraza espectacular a la bahía y una terraza con piscina muy cuidada donde es posible desayunar. Volveremos!

  Good place to enjoy the corsican south west

  + We had a spacious sleep/kitchen room with a new bathroom. The location was ideal, a bit outside of the city in the surrounding hills but close to everything by car. Amazing view over the bay from the location. - Unfortunately the fridge in the room is noisy and woke me up 2-3 times during the first nights, but it was still ok.

  Amazing views and wonderful apartment.

  Really lovely hotel we would recommend and go back to. We (family of 4) stayed in the T3 Suite on the 1st floor with the 60m2 balcony. From looking around the hotel grounds I think this would be the best accommodation at the hotel. So definitely recommend this apartment in particular, The stunning view from the very spacious balcony is the best I have ever had in any hotel / accommodation. Because the balcony jutted out it gave almost a 270 degree view of the sea, Propriano town and the mountains with the sun setting directly in front. Our apartment was new and finished to a high spec, with very comfortable beds and spacious throughout. The hotel grounds are very pretty and the whole place has a very relaxing feel with great views wherever you are. It feels like a real oasis once you enter the hotel gates. Our kids enjoyed both heated pools which were very clean and well maintained. Continental breakfast by the pool with a lovely view is worth doing. 11Euros a head, but 3 breakfasts was enough for the 4 of us. If staying here you need a car as the hotel is situated high up the hill and quite a walk into town. But theres a free carpark only a few mins drive down. Also there are not street lights all the way up to the hotel in case you walked back late. We enjoyed Propriano town as feels like an authentic French town with a pretty marina and lovely views. Has some great restaurants and plenty of shops to browse. We took a boat trip for 2 hours which we really enjoyed and you can really appreciate the scenery and beautiful clear water. The beach of Compamoro looked very nice. Propriano as a town is a little isolated as its about an hour drive round windy mountain roads to get to other towns like Bonifacio or Ajaccio. But we loved the very natural, unspoilt beauty of the island. Definitely recommend this hotel and Propriano.

  Excellent modern apartments on a very nice small complex with amazing views

  This is a great little place. It's situated 2km from the town up the hill so the views over the bay from all apartments is superb. We stayed in one of the new, modern one bed apartments which was very well furnished and equipped and included a small full kitchen. We especially liked the huge walk in shower and big terrace with both dining table and chairs and wicker sofas. The small complex has two swimming pools, a terrace where I believe you can order breakfast if you wish, and a laundry room with coin operated washers, dryer and iron/ironing board. Everywhere was very clean and tidy and it was a bonus for us that the reception staff spoke good English. In terms of location there is a big supermarket just a 5 minute walk away, along with a few other shops and a brasserie. It is possible to walk into town if you dont mind a fairly busy road and the uphill return. It takes about 30 mins each way. However, it is usually easy to find a street parking space in the evening for an easier drive down. Propriano itself is an OK harbour town with a number of mediocre restaurants but nothing special. The area around it, however, is beautiful with a spectacular coastline, some gorgeous beaches and good hiking options. You definitely need a car to explore. We would definitely stay at the Aria Marina again as it is high quality for a 3 star and offers a lot more space and catering independence for the money than a comparable hotel. We did notice, nevertheless, that some apartments were considerably older than where we were situated and looked, on the outside, more dated, so I would want to confirm the accommodation.

  A little slice of heaven

  After 4 nights in a hotel in Calvi we decided to go for a self-catering option in Propriano and we were not disappointed. We loved every minute of our 5 night stay. Our one bedroom flat was immaculate, modern, well-equipped and with a large terrace with a panoramic sea view (it looks like all flats and bungalows face the sea). Grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the two pools are equally lovely. For the same price as our hotel in Calvi this felt like a real luxury upgrade. We didnt try the breakfast so cant comment on that but the terrace where it was served has a stunning view. One of our favourite places weve stayed for a long time - well definitely co sister coming back! The good: - large modern well-equipped flat - modern bathroom with a huge shower - Good, quiet aircon - Lovely grounds - Truly stunning view The less good: - Not comfortably walkable to Propriano (dont be fooled by the short distance, its a steep hill with a poor pavement) - WiFi was poor - didnt work at all for first 2 days then on and off after that - Maid service not included (can pay for this if you want it though) Overall: If youre not bothered about being walking distance to restaurants then this is a perfect option
