  Suitable Single Accommodation

  For a solo traveller it is nice to find a motel that has smaller rooms and priced accordingly. For $60. (+taxes) I got a room that was clean, blankets that did not have cigarette burns, a shower that had a good-sized soap bar and decent towels. It is a standard motel that provides standard service. The receptionist was a little on the curt side but not offensive. The breakfast was actually quite satisfying. TV was small with just one English channel - but look where you are. I would recommend this motel to anybody who is not overly fussy. As always when travelling in a region that uses a different language, making an attempt to speak the language is appreciated. I learned a couple of phrases and when I didn't know a word I asked for help. That works too.

  A good stop

  We arrived late in the afternoon (around 7pm) without reservation at a time where all hotels in that small community were booked. Fortunately, there was room at this place so we did not have to sleep in the car! The service was polite and friendly, the room was fine and quiet even though it gave on the internal court where other cars parked. The room and the bathroom were clean; if you suffer from the heat, then take one of the air conditioned room. Breakfast was included and it was fine, run of the mill but fine and the person in charge was nice. I forgot something in the bedroom and when I called 4 days later, they confirmed they found it and it was mailed to me. I received it yesterday, 3 days after I called. I would recommend that motel anytime.

  Served the purpose for the night.

  Best price in town,,,, but on the busy hi way, not the St. Lawrence. Girls at check in were ok, one was quite friendly, and tried to accommodate our lack of French, much appreciated. The other, well, sorry this English guy is bothering to even try. We are on a Harley, and get sent to the back..... seems that is where they send the bikes... Room was acceptable, neighbours were chain smoking outside the room, and very noisy!! NO Air Conditioning, so open the windows to allow some air,,, and in comes the smoke and noise... Breakfast was good, lady serving it commanded respect, and don't even try to touch the bread LOL . Poor sleep, average stay, internet worked most of the time.sure you can do better for not much more money.

  Single use disposable plastic tableware for breakfast :(

  For a motel close to the beautiful mountains and nature they are really far from being ecofriendly. Everything goes in the garbage after you eat your breakfast plates forks knifes, even the muffins are in individual plastic bags. Imagine the amount of trash they produce every year for saving some time doing the dishes. I won't go back to this motel until those practices have changed.

  Ok for the price

  About what is to be expected for a cheap room. The bed was comfortable and room was clean. The included breakfast was ok. My biggest issue is the room smelled very musty and triggered my allergies/asthma badly due to that, and due to the wall to wall carpet. Our thermostat did not work and we found the place noisy- thin walls with a lot of noise traveling in from the outside lot, where our neighbors liked to gather on the steps to have a smoke and long loud conversation at both early and late hours. Also they advertise renovated rooms but they dont look to have actually been recently renovated.
