  Simple clean, The price is right

  Good stay at Motel 6 last night in Willows California. It was the usual Motel 6 sterile Room with no carpet. The Room was clean and the bed was great. The only shortcoming is they filled up the pool with dirt so No pool. Bah humbug.With that shortcoming in mind we will stay there again if we just need a night's stay. Please know that super 8 is across the with a pool.

  Great stay!

  We were passing through on a long road trip and unsure of where to stay being so far from home and late at night. Jodie at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we had wonderful rest. The outdoor lawn was great for our dog too - very pet friendly and will stay here again when passing through!

  Torn

  I am torn between a Poor vs, Average rating for theis place, where we spent one night. On the positive side, the room was clean....and there is a good grassy area for walking one's dog. The garbage can in that area, however, was overflowing with filled poop bags and obviously had not been emptied for some time. Just before we went to bed, we noticed that the tub/shower control was broken and it's remains were sitting on the side of the tub. This precluded us from showering the next morning before we left. Upon checkout, the manager claimed not to have knowledge that it was inoperable.......so what is with the housekeeping staff? If they cleaned the tub before our arrival, they certainly knew that the shower was not working. It would have been nice if they had reported it so that we would have been assigned a different room when we checked in.

  Highly recommended, clean, quiet, caring friendly staff

  I was in town for a Track Night in America event that started at 2:00. I arrived in Willows around noon. I swing into the motel and inquired about a possible early check in. The very friendly man at the desk, possibly the owner, found a room that was made up and let me check in early. This was very kind of him, it allowed me to freshen up, even take a nap before heading to the track. The room appeared to be freshly remodeled. It was exactly what I needed. Clean, quiet,AC worked great, very comfortable bed. It even had a small refrigerator and microwave. Walking distance to restaurants and Starbucks. Very safe parking for my car. To top things off, later that evening they came to my room to inform me the interior lights were on in my car. Service above and beyond the norm. Also with discounts, I was super affordable. I have found my home away from home when I visit Willows for track events at Thunderhill!

  Comfortable

  The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. No noticeable odors in my room. Nice hardwood-like floors. (No carpet) I would definitely stay here again if I need a good nights sleep while passing through the area.
