  Wretched, horrible halfway house

  This hotel was the only dog friendly hotel in Venice, and the COVID price cut was attractive. I should have known better. The first sign was the police car driving slowly around the hotel as I arrived. Id reserved a non smoking King. The first room was a King but reeked of cigarettes. The second was two doubles and it reeked of cat urine. The box springs were filthy and there were bugs crawling on the walls. The third room was marginally acceptable but had no mini fridge. Worse, there were thuggish looking people loitering outside their rooms, no masks, and no effort to maintain a 6 distance. On two occasions I had to move within 1-2 of a large, tattooed Hispanic fellow making out with his woman. There was no cleaning between stays due to COVID, and no coffee anywhere since the lobby was closed. I killed around 20 insects on the walls of our room. This is a foul, disgusting, and possibly dangerous place that frankly looked like a halfway house for newly released convicts. Stay far away.

  Good for the price

  Hotel was close to all restaurants and all shops , you can walk to everything. Close to the beach. Rooms were clean , our room had been remodeled and very modern. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. Price was average for that area.

  Hell

  Literally the worst place I have ever stayed. There were junkies everywhere sitting on the paths etc. The room was disgusting animal hair all over the floor and the beds were damp I think from the air con so I had to sleep on my dress and towel. Its a shame as the people that worked there are really nice but I slept for an hour as so scared

  Perfect stay - location

  Excellent location to beach. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, friendly staff. There are many restaurants near the hotel. Breakfast was not offered due to COVID 19. There was a microwave in the vending machine area.

  Excellent

  Had a wonderful time visiting Venice. The motel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very open and clean. Will return on my next vacation!
