  Great hotel now with all updates

  I stayed here last year, wasn't so good, but now its completely remodeled and has a really cool sports bar and restaurant right at the resort. And the pool area is much better with the cool tropical uodates. And every room completely remodeled and all new linens. There is new staff here as well, very good people, on point... Way better now!

  Oyo Hotel Sweetwater Tennessee

  I was very pleased with my stay . The price point of this hotel was wonderful! The staff was friendly and accommodating. A new owner took over and I can see the major improvements that are being made. With a sports Bar and Grill on its way in , I will definitely be staying again on my next trip through Tennessee. There are so many cool attractions near by like the Lost Sea Adventures, Horse back Riding through the Smokey Mountains and just a short drive to Nashville,Knoxville and Gatlinburg. I Would recommend it to families or Single travelers looking for a great place to stay on a budget .

  Oyo Hotel

  My stay was great ! I will definitely be back to stay again . The rooms are nicely updated , the location was great and I was really happy with the pricing . Everyone was very friendly . I heard there will be a new bar and restaurant coming soon which will be great for next time !

  DON'T EVER STAY AT OYO HOTEL IN SWEETWATER

  I booked and paid for a room online. My room was rented out before I arrived and they had no other rooms available. I had to find another room at another hotel and OYO refuses to refund my money! Thieves is the only word that comes to mind.

  Do NOT book OYO hotels

  I was going to skip leaving a review, but after my contact with OYO today I decided to tell our story about this failed stay. My wife and I booked a specific room type through the OYO Hotels website. When we arrived at the hotel, our room type was already filled up. The room offered had 2 single beds and had a smell to it. So we did not take the room. I asked the receptionist that since they didn't have the room we booked we would stay elsewhere, and she said we would not be charged. The receptionist said that because of the OYO system, they were overbooked by 5 rooms so it wasn't a problem. Now, over a month later I get an email from OYO saying that we were marked as "NO SHOW" by the hotel and that there would be a charge. I called the customer service line and told them that we did show up, but they did not have the room that we booked and the room offered was not adequate. OYO corporate just sent a follow-up email saying that they could not refund because "the front desk said we never showed up at the property". Luckily I don't think we gave them a credit card number when we booked so I don't think they'll be able to charge us. But if they do I will fight it, because we did show up, and it wasn't our fault that we didn't stay there.
