  Good night :)

  First night on vaca... Staff very pleasant and friendly. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Much quieter than I expected, considering the location. Reasonable price. I would recommend it. Lots of convenient parking. Plenty of eats nearby too.

  Love this motel 6

  Was on a road trip with my family and we were exhausted from driving. Checked in to this Motel 6 around midnight on a Saturday. Front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. The place must be new or recently renovated as it was very nice and very clean. The room was nice, but a little small but well appointed. Would definitely stay again. One of the nicest Motel 6's I have stayed at.

  Modern, helpful staff, great location

  We checked it at almost midnight with two kids and a dog. The front desk clerk was especially kind and helpful. Modern, clean room, that has everything you need and nothing that you dont. Fridge was a unexpected surprise! Quiet room and a good nights sleep. Thank you Motel 6 for allowing dogs for free!

  New property

  Micro refrigerator in room, coffee at 6 a.m. & like all the hotel/motels that I stayed in Indiana charged a $60 refundable deposit (yes even when using a credit card?) Must be an indiana thing, LOL. Otherwise still a nice property, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms

  Service lacking

  I generally don't like to low rate budget motels too much because as the saying goes "you get what you pay for". But this place deserves it. I'll start with the good. For a Motel 6, it is clean and new. Everything seemed to work and it had a mini fridge, not common for the chain. Now I'll give my actual experience. First, I walk in and there is no one at the desk. I had to call several times before anyone appeared. Why? If there is a good reason, post a sign that says "back in a few minutes". I was simply left wondering when someone would appear. Also, what's the deal for requiring a deposit on the room in case there is smoking or other damage? I paid for the room in advance. There was no notice on the reservation site that I would need to pay again when I registered. I get to the room, try light switches, and nothing works. I did not know there was a new device that requires your room card to be inserted in order for there to be power. When I called the desk, she said she forgot to tell me. A number of the television stations did not work. The clerk contacted the cable company and was told that there were issues. The name of the provider was one I had never heard of. As I said previously "you get what you pay for". The rooms are tiny, even by Motel 6 standards. If the bathroom door is open, the way out is blocked. The bed extends most of the way to the television. If you can accord a bit more, South Bend has other options.
