  Good find at 1am

  This isn't the fanciest hotel or in the best part of town, but at 1am while head in to LA, it was more than adequate. Cory the front desk clerk was friendly and efficient. Got me checked in quickly and I was in the room in under 5 minutes. The room is sparse, but clean and most important this am, quiet. It was comfortable, bed was firm and A.C. worked great. It is dog friendly without an additional charge and has no carpet in case of accidents. Only downside is if your dog likes to wander you're going to hear their nails clicking. Otherwise I would have no problem staying here again based on this experience.

  Plain Scary

  The room was ok the area is NOT. Situated in a rundown industrial area this motel seems to provide "long term" housing. People congregate in walkways, parking lot and come and go at all hours. Stayed with our toddlers and felt unsafe.

  Very nice

  I stayed here last week, and I can only say that it was an excellent value, the check in was super easy, the room was spotless, and I will return anytime I am in the Salem area. The chinese restaurant across the street is great, no need to drive or wait for takeout.

  Rude Frank

  Frank is the most rude person I have ever seen in my life, every question I asks he answered in a very rude way, he yelled at me and my two year old daughter. I asked him to let the Janitor know that I dont want the room to be cleaned during my stay. He rudely said rooms must be cleaned, if you dont want, you can leave the motel I told him are you serious? I already paid, he said then when you check out dont come back to the motel Again Frank is such a Rude and Ill-mannered person. I dont know how he got hired.... They should hire welcoming people not rude people to work in front desk.

  worst hotel i have ever stayed at

  loud barking, people were stomping upstairs all day all night, no fast food close, roaches i counted 4, if microwave gets too hot, then you have to wait for a minute or two, no ''do not disturb signs'', you have to wait a long time for the house keepers to clean your room (if your long term) and a train comes all day all night so it's really loud.
