  Great place to stay for 1 to 2 day trips

  I moved to the Bay Area 3 years ago and made a promise to see my Grandma every 2 weeks or so. So, this place is my home away from home when I am traveling by myself and need a nice clean place to sleep. Upon check in, I was greeted by Alexis, one of the front desk staff who graciously allowed me an early check in upon calling and asked how my day was doing. She got me checked in and told me to let her know if there is anything I need during my stay to let them know. (She is great! Hope you get a chance to meet her as she's very nice!) I had the pleasure of getting a remodeled room which looked very spiffy clean wise. TV was mounted on the wall and you can connect your computer to the HDMI ports on the TV or your game console if you want. There is Free Wifi now that is basic speed. If you want it much faster you need to pay a $4.95 fee. The basic speed is good though for Facebook and Twitter and even low res Youtube. (Previously you had to pay) No Free breakfast but Denny's is there if you need it and that's good. (No walk no drive!) Overall I would choose this place again as they are great at providing a good place to sleep at overnight. And yes, kudos to the excellent customer service here. The rates will very depending on the day of the week you book but signing up for My 6 will get you the best rate automatically.

  Good

  Stayed here last night for one night room was clean the people were pleasant and the security was good. Overall no complaints. Guard in parking lot. Not fancy but pleasant. Not so easy to find my way from the 80. Wish thered been a very tall sign.

  Rude front desk

  I went in to check in the front lady was so rude.she was yelling at someone that she was on the phone with.she slammed the phone down and said yea what do you need.how rude she made a comment about my husband smoking outside. Her name was cindy.rude as hell calling cooperate in the morning.

  Bed Bugs

  Last night, May 10th I stayed at the Motel 6 in North Sacramento #1306. I booked a two bed nonsmoking room through Expedia. The room smelled strongly of smoke and the smell would not go away with air freshener or the window open. The towels in the room were dirty, stains on them, and there was hair in the bathtub. Although what topped it off completely was when I got out of the shower. I was standing over the bed my 10 year old daughter was in. The was a bed bug crawling on the pillow next to her. I have pictures and video of the bed bug. I woke her and we immediately left and decided to check out completely. At the front desk all I received from staff was "Oh wow sorry", "we will have to close that room down now". "Would you like a copy of your bill?" Nothing else! I thought at a minimum they would have said more, been more apologetic. But nothing.

  Nice Stay

  Stay was great, friendly staff. Rooms are little old, could use some upgrade. No coffee in the morning which is understandable, but starbucks is just in working distance. Dennys is next door. Overall very convenient.
