  Solo para dormir

  El hotel esta como a 1 hora o 40 minutos de sequoia national park. Esta limpio y sirve para descansar si tu destino es el sur de california. El motel es barato así que no esperes mucho, esta bien para su precio, lo único que me sorprendió es que cobraran el WIFI, es la primera vez que me pasa.

  When I travel through the United States I usually stay at Motel 6, they are generally the same as other motels, but cheaper. in this case I was in room 245 on the second floor. I paid 75.74 US $ for the night.

  Reservations mean you have a certain room reserved right? Obviously not!

  I reserved a room with a queen bed about a week before my trip to Porterville. I also requested a room on the bottom floor. I received confirmation of my request via email, stating I had a room with a queen bed reserved . When I checked into the motel, the lady at the desk told me that there were no queen beds available and that my reservation stated that I had the handicapped room with the full bed reserved. I told her no, she was mistaken. I clearly had a queen bed reserved. "Well, I don't have any queen beds available" is what she told me. I could take the full bed or 2 twin beds. I reluctantly took the full bed, because I was too tired to look for another room. My husband and I aren't small people so with every turn we were hitting each other and waking each other up. It was the most uncomfortable bed we experienced. Our bathroom floor looked and felt like it needed cleaning. In the morning when I checked out I asked the lady at the desk if it was policy to have 2 reservation numbers for 1 reservation. She said no. I told her I was given 2 different reservations. She checked and then apologized. I told her of the difficult time we had sleeping and what was the point reserving a room if we don't get the room we were confirmed on getting? She didn't have a answer. She didn't know why I got the full bed handicapped room either. Either way, if this is how it is to be with motel 6 in the future, I won't be doing business with them again. I am so disappointed. I even wrote a review on their "How did we do" email they sent,and got NO RESPONSE!

  Useful base for Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park

  We chose Porterville for its location near Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park. Prices here are more reasonable than Three Rivers. The room was very clean and comfortable, serviced every day with more than ample parking. I have no reservations in recommending this as a good value for money place to stay.

  Great stay great staff rooms were nice and clean nice area would stay again I travel to pville often only place I stay is at this motel 6 close to several restaurants and banks are nearby which is good for me
