The night clerks were great the General Manager Daniel Young need customer service training!I checked into the hotel because my father had just passed away and the stress of familail relations was getting out of hand. The ladies that helped me behind the desk were kind and accommodating . upon my last day there - because we are no where near finishing up on my fathers affairs, I wanted to extend my stay. When I first asked I was told I could stay 2 extra days at the same rate but when I asked in the Am the manager Daniel was there and he said I was only able to do one - due to people taking advantage. I explained my situation - but he was short and curt and very unprofessional and left a very negative image of himself and the hotel - he is the General Manager. Instead of giving me the customer service you would expect or the respect as a Patron who just went through one of the most difficult times in my life- he treated me like one of the street walkers that I am sure frequent the place. After being treated so nicely and feeling like Chelsey and Ashley (blond girl) were not only empathetic but did what they could to help my stay be more comfortable- it was disheartening to know that they worked for someone who was clearly there for just a pay check. Fine that I could not continue to get the same rate for the extra days- but I felt like I was being told I could no longer stay at the hotel at all. It was convenient to where my father lived, the right price and even thought he room was not cleaned when I checked in- pee not wiped up on the toilet, cigarette burns on the mattress in a non smoking room- my towels not being replaced for 2-3 days, it worked for what I needed. Now. I need to be in Lawton for another 3 days and have to find another place which will be out of he way. Very Very disappointed and I do not ever plan to stay at a Motel 6 ever again!!!

Pick againThis hotel is far from what I expect at Motel 6. It is very noisy. Fights on site. Police came to the location twice in the 6 hours I was there. And one ambulance. This location felt very unsafe. The locks on my door were damaged. The security bolt on the inside was broken. I will never stay at this location again.

Not PleasantWe are currently at this hotel. We brought my daughter up here to find an apartment so she can be closer to her husband at Fort Sill. Pros: Staff has been friendly and they gave her a military discount. Cons: The first room smelled like smoke, even though we requested non-smoking. We were informed that ALL rooms are non-smoking, but they did move us to another room (which ironically had an ashtray in it). This room smelled better, but it came with a busted a/c unit, hair on the pillows and sheets, a cap to a needle, dried snot on the blanket and what looks like mold on the baseboard. And as I was typing this, someone was steadily yanking on our door trying to get in. We requested new bedding and were told we would have to go back to the front to pick it up---okay, fine. The lady at the front desk said "It's a hotel. It happens. There's not a lot we can do". We will be speaking to management tomorrow morning as we know there's not a lot the desk clerk can do. The area is questionable, but since we aren't from here, we don't really know how trustworthy it is. Update :the front desk clerk just called our room and apologized profusely for the people trying to enter our room. I don't blame her for any of these issues. We will still speak to management in the morning.

Funeral visitHad to go due to some unfortunate business. My computer had led me to believe that the first room I had reserved had not gone through so I had reserved another room, upon arrival I found out my first reservation had indeed gone through. The lady at the front desk, Sandy, helped me out and found my other reservation. She cancelled out the second reservation and moved me into the second room. Went out to do errands take advantage of the hotel laundry room came back to my room and it seems the folks upstairs decided that they were going to do the stomping Olympics. After driving over 13 hours I really needed to sleep. I went to the front desk to see if maybe they could help. The lady that night, Nicole I believe, said that she would see if she could change my room. We checked and there was one more handicapped accessible room available. We were able to change rooms and get a good night's sleep. The ladies took good care of us and when I have to back I will be staying there again.
