  Old but clean

  Motel does need a renovation but other then that it's clean- staff was very nice & helpful beds were comfy & it's a room to sleep with no amenities except for a pool & hair dryer although very affordable & comfy

  Decent for the price

  Stayed one night. Room was clean and comfortable. Was a bit concerned about noise as it is right off the freeway but the doors/walls did a great job of blocking the noise. It is located on the south side of I 80 and there isnt much around it. At night the roads leading in arent well lit or marked so it can be a bit tricky finding your way in. Only big complaint was that the rooms are centrally heated (no individual temperature control) and it was a bit warm at night.

  Saved the day

  We spent two nights here while attending Mizzou/Wyoming football game. Check in easy. Room clean, comfortable, had everything we needed. No extras but great price so had no expectations. After checking out and arriving at Mount Rushmore, I discovered Id left my suitcase with technology, jewelry, makeup, medications, etc.. at Motel 6. When I called, Seth, the manager was very helpful and kind. He called me back two hours later and had found my suitcase and and our usb adaptor. Kudos to the maid for her honesty in turning these items into the office. Seth talked with me a couple more times to discuss UPS or postal return options, but it was Labor Day weekend. Two days later we returned to pick up suitcase and everything was there. Seth was so kind and helpful. He truly saved the day!

  Not great

  Stayed one night and booked 2 rooms. There wasnt any air conditioning, which maybe is fine if it never gets warm here. The problem was the heater was up in the ceiling and even turning down the temperature slider and keeping the fan on still made it hot in the room. It was 35 degrees outside and I tried to open the window just to cool it down so I could sleep. Wouldnt stay again here but the location felt safe but didnt sleep so why bother. Also there was long black hair in between the sheets so we just layer on the top and used out own blankets.

  Tiny beds, limited tp

  When traveling with dogs, it can be a challenge to find lodging that will allow pets. We were fortunate to find a Motel 6 just off the freeway in Laramie, Wyoming. However, when you sleep on the cheap, there are down sides. We had 3 adults and our room had 2 beds, not doubles, but maybe a little larger than singles. Two adults could not fit on a bed. I ended up sleeping in the car with a dog. But the real test was using the bathroom. There was a mini roll of toilet paper, good for perhaps 4 uses. We ended up using tissues we brought into the room. Both the room and the bathroom were very small but again I paid a small price for the room even though two females got to use it and I got the car. So basics, inexpensive, but easy to get back on the freeway. This was the smallest Motel 6 I have ever tried to sleep in.
