  Surprisingly quiet and comfortable.

  No one expects a Motel 6 to be a 4 star hotel. This one is no exception. very basic, but you get what you pay for. This was my first time staying in a Motel 6 so was a little surprised at just how basic the rooms are. That said it is good enough if you just need a place to sleep. There was a small desk and chair,tiny flat screen TV and a surprisingly comfortable bed. The room was quiet and clean. The receptionist when I checked in , could use a few lessons in customer service but she was kind enough to get me a different room when my original room had poor WiFi signal. It's inexpensive and basic but if that's all you need then it is ecommended.

  The worst stay at motel 6 in indio ca

  Oh my god, I don't even know where to begin, if you are looking 4 a night with no sleep due to all the slamming of doors, loud talking, partying, its unbelievable. There's never no ice 2 ice machines no ice. They got homeless people drug dealers hookers no good people coming on the property taking I've everything its horrible, worse than horrible. If its gonna b like there then thrntjey shouldn't charge no mote than $10 a night, or actually do your job & stop having that motel as a drug haven, a place to get a how, & a place to party. It is awful, worse than awful

  Would give 0 stars if possible

  Hands down worst accommodation experience. Being someone who works in rural/remote Australia I have stayed in some pretty questionable places however they look like 5 star hotels compared to this pit. Staff were less than helpful when we experienced a major incident. For those looking for cheap accommodation, pay the extra and stay elsewhere!

  I stay in lots of Motel 6s primary due to pet policy (they all allow dogs), so Ill compare this to my average Motel 6 stay. Cleanlinessin room, average; outside my room was a tall, narrow garage can literally overflowing all over. Looked like more than one days garbage. Clienteleon the sketchier side; I try not to be judgemental but clearly a lower and louder class of guests. Sadly next door to me. Noise levelby some railroad tracks and when the trains come thru you may think theyre coming thru your room. Guests next door were loud. Loud cars in parking lot. Securitycameras everywhere and very bright parking lot (brightest one Ive ever seen at a motel like an auto dealer at night). I felt safe enough as a single guy, but were my wife with me shed probably not feel the same. Where to stay on propertyaway from the tracks and main drag. Probably upstairs so away from sketchier people. Would I stay here again? Maybe. But probably not during warmer months.

  Our stay at the Motel 6 in Indio CA

  To be completely honest, this is probably the worst room ive ever stayed in. Absolutely filthy. Cockroaches in the bathroom. No AC. Room reeked of cigarettes even though it was supposed to be a non smoking room. Cigarette burns in both comforters. We were leaving to get dinner and when we opened the door, a random dog ran in our room. Not joking. Closing and locking/unlocking our door was very difficult. Ceiling appeared to have water damage which caused it to sag. I would say the beds are disgusting but that would be an understatement. Hair in the bed and stains in the bedding as well. Also did not seem sanitary at all which is a big deal to me especially because of the pandemic. If it werent so late, we wouldve demanded a refund.
