Dog Friendly but not much more. For those that have read my reviews, you will recognize that I always look for the best in any situation. Well with that being said, Motel 6 are always dog friendly. That is the only thing good I can say about this particular Motel 6. Upon arrival, the toilet was still full from a previous guest or staff. The sheets were quite stained as well. Luckily we were only there to catch some sleep before continuing on with our travels.

Good place for a dirty adventurer(s)Very friendly and accommodating staff. Fresh towels and hardwood floors. Authentic Mexican food in a trailer at the neighboring truck stop. Large parking lot and beautiful view of the mountains outside. Staff is cool on late checkout times. Easy access to freeway.

No hot water for four days!Booked months in advance. Upon check in was told the hot water heater broke the day before, but would be fixed the next day (I think they owed customers a call or email telling them of this, rather than waiting until people drove hours and wanted to check in) Was offered a $10 discount and took it because they said they'd have hot water the next day. Having had a previous positive experience I was content with my decision...until I cleaned the room. I bring bleach and the dirt/hair I got off the floors/walls was gross. A previous guest's towel was on the back of the bathroom door. Should've checked out, but since I cleaned the room and there would be hot water the next day I decided again to stay. Early the next day we left for the Briggs Farm Blues Festival and when we got back to no hot water it was too late to book another hotel...they were fully booked and we were stuck! We never had hot water...spent 3 nights/4 days in a hotel that continued washing towels/linens in cold water and handing them out to guests. I asked to pay daily since they offered the $10 discount on the first night only. Glad I did. On my final check in day the guy told me that because i did it that way it left my room as unattended and i was fortunate it wasnt rented to another customer. Seriously! They had no hot water for 4 days at that point and were still selling rooms...how is that legal?

Save Yourself! This was the filthiest place I have stayed in 40 years of traveling, including motels, hotels, and quite a few hostels, even. Pillows, sheets, and towels all stained with nasty looking ? ( see photo of pillow). Room smelled like smoking room with cheap cologne trying to cover the stench ( was supposed to be a non- smoking room). Coming in bathroom falling off wall, someone tried to fix with tape (see photo). Towel bar ripped off wall and laying on floor (photo). TV set on broken something resting on two end tables (photo). No night table on either side of bed, no clock. Entire room dirty and stank. Horrible. This place needs to be inspected by health officials- look out for potential if bedbugs. Save yourself and dont stop, keep driving!
