  Terrible

  The toilet didnt flush well...took multiple attempts to flush most things. No blanket in the room and the temp was 30 degrees outside one day. No iron available when I asked to use one. TV did not work. The parking area on the right side of the building is terrible. There is barely enough room for a small car to park and another car to drive down the side without hitting a car or the curb. The trucks that were parked there made it nearly impossible to drive down and park in front of my room. I was nervous driving down that every day. I was there 4 days.

  There were, cig Burns and something like KY on the bedspread, urine on the shower curtain, plumbing problems, no ice bucket, stained bath cloths, etc. This was the 2nd room they gave me. The first was full of flys.

  Business Trip

  Not a bad place for the price. Would definately stay there again. The new manager was very accommodating. They are doing alot of renovations and it shows. The nicest Motel 6 I have seen yet. I didnt like the adjoining rooms. I hope that is changed. I dont need fancy as long as its clean and I get sleep. Mission accomplished.

  Clean

  Stayed 1 night, room was clean. Liked the plug ins beside the bed (king size) no coffee maker but there is a Hardees beside motel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cons: 1 sheet on bed and 1 thin cover on bed. Motel is located at a bad spot as you can here traffic from the road and traffic in and out of parking lot that is conected with other buisiness. Walls are thin and you can hear peopl talking outside as they pass and neighbor snoring. If we had remembered our fan it might have been better. Would i stay hear again ? Probably not because of the noise.

  Cheap Motel 6

  Honest review of the motel 6 in Decatur tx. Its the cheapest hotel in town but you would be better spending the extra $5 for the econo lodge next door. I came from a long day hunting and was ready to lay down I booked my spot online and headed in. Upon arrival I was told my name wasnt in the system the machine takes a while to process online bookings. I said no problem can I just show yall the reservation on my phone and get checked in... to which I was told no. I said Ill just go to the econo lodge next door Im not waiting on a motel 6... funny how my name magically popped into the system 2 seconds later when he glanced at the computer. When getting my first room I went up to the third floor opened my door and received a welcome invite by about 50 guest. And when I say guest I mean cockroaches... everywhere. Its a motel 6 I expected a couple cockroaches but my god... comming out of the air conditioning, the bed, upon opening the door on the microwave, the bathroom, my bed, everywhere. I went back down stairs and asked politely to get another room because of it. Im 19 And the guy at the register was about the same. I dont know if maybe he thought because we were similar in age he didnt have to respect me as a paying customer? He was annoyed that I asked for a room change to which I apologized for having cockroaches in my room... really. Any other guest would have received a refund and a change of rooms, well I guess not here. I went to my new room and of course it had cockroaches as well but nearly as many. I expected that though so I let it slide and just went to shower. First of all why are the towels covered in stains that wash out with water... secondly why is the bar of soap for your hands the same bar of soap as for the shower. Not only is it terrible quality and disrespectful that the owner would rather pocket the 15 cents extra it cost for small bottles... but what happens if there is more than one person in the room? Some people dont wanna wash their hair with soap thats been on someones a*s.... Im a considerate person and given that Id already pissed off the staff... I showered anyways... I get out and go to lay down in bed... why is their stains all over the bed... on every layer of sheets... didnt help having long black hair all in my bed either... I have short blonde hair gross. Although the experience was terrible on the positive side of things the ac did work nicely and the space is big and open. The tv was nice and had a ton of channels to chose from (although I feel this is standard at most hotels nowdays). The hotel is also located in the middle of town and has good access to surrounding locations. The reviews were encouraging but let me be the first to tell you go somewhere else.
