  There is a basic truth concerning Motel 6. You are a Motel 6 fan or you are NOT. If you do not like the chain they can do nothing right. If you like the chain they are consistent from East to West Coast. We date back to 1965 when the rooms in the Motel 6 in Riverside California cost $6 (thus the name Motel 6) plus 24 cents tax. You can count on a good price and a clean room and good service. We got all three here in Chino. My wife and I were both very happy with our stay.

  Okay if you just need to sleep

  I stayed for 2 nights at the Motel 6 in Chino after attending events in Los Angeles. I never have high expectations when staying at this chain of motels (and generally have pleasant stays), however this time I did not. It was a great place to sleep and shower, the bed was comfortable, and it is located near a shopping mall with food and starbucks, but that is all I can really say positive about this hotel. The area was very sketchy at night, and the motel sits right next to the highway so that can be loud.The room was not the cleanest when I checked in. Hair all over the bed and pillows, dirty floors, dust everywhere. There was even a broken fire alarm head under one of the mattresses. There were no amenities in the room besides a bar of soap. The AC unit was extremely noisy and sat directly on one of the beds. I turned it off to get sleep. I had to sleep with ear plugs in as well to quiet the noise from the freeway. I would probably not stay at this location again. Also, WIFI is not included, and you must ask for it at check in or it will not be offered.

  Unsafe and dirty.

  Area is unsafe. Rooms are very old and were dirty and stank. I asked for a room with no pets. I drove for 18 hours and when I got to the motel, they told me all rooms have had pets in the rooms. My wife is allergic to pets. I asked for a refund and they told me they were a pet friendly motel and that I should of known about pets in room when I specifically stated on the room reservation that I needed a room with-out pets that have been in rooms. Area is full of gang members and unsafe. I thought I was going to get robbed. I checked out after first night and went to a different hotel away from this area. Stay away from this motel if you value your safety and want clean rooms that do not stink,

  Family trip

  We got the room not clean at all it was so nasty people yelling at my kids people at front dest not so great never staying there for sure got my refund money and when some were else there was a dairy diaper in that the bed sheets were not change and bathroom not clean

  Good enought for a n overnight trip

  It was good. Simple stuff - towels, bed, shower, and that's pretty much it. That's all I need. I come every year to stay for a couple nights but that's the longest I would stay. If it had a kitchen, then maybe I would stay longer.
