"Bueno, bonito y barato""Bueno, bonito y barato". En general está bien el hotel, tomando en cuenta el precio. Todo funcionaba bien. Está como a 5km del centro, como para ir en carro. Las camas no son tan cómodas, pero funcionan. No hay que ser muy exigentes con el motel porque es de los baratos. Llegas a dormir y bañarte.

Nice remodeled room but cheap, cheap, cheap (read NO amenities), etc.We booked four nights in this room because our son said it had been recently upgraded, had a mini-kitchen, and was 5 minutes from his house. Though I swore 30 years ago I would NEVER stay in a Motel 6 again, we decided to go for this newly re-done place. My partner unloaded the bags and tried to check in while I parked the car. We always do this when we travel. But the man at the front desk refused to take Neil's driver's license and insisted on waiting for me. When we got to the room and settled in, we realized there was no hairdryer, no kleenex, no shampoo/conditioner, etc. We didn't notice that there was no coffee machine (and no breakfast offered, though coffee in the lobby. I called the front desk. "We don't supply kleenex, but there's a vending machine in the lobby and you can buy your own." WHAT??? No blow dryer "Motel 6 has never supplied hairdryers and kleenex. It has always been the policy of Motel 6" (apparently policy not to supply any other room amenities, though there WAS a little bar of soap). Then he told us we could pick up a blow dryer from the desk, if we needed one. Apparently the vending machines supply you with your own breakfast as well, though they do have coffee, or so we were told. We went to our son's house and came back at midnight. Asked for the hair dryer, and were told we needed to leave a driver's license until we returned the dryer. We will be here for five days, and will surely need our DLs to drive to the places we need/want to go while we're here. I reminded the woman that she has our credit card, so if we stole the dryer, she could charge us. "It is the Motel 6 policy to take a driver's iicense or passport for the hair dryer." So we gave her a DL and went up to our room. The bed is comfortable, AC worked well, kitchenette was very nice, but of course we didn't need it at midnight. The toilet didn't flush properly, and we had to hold the handle down until ALL the water and waste was gone, EVERY time. Brand new toilets. Cheap cheap. In the morning, taking a shower, I discovered the absence of any shampoo or conditioner. Didn't bother to call. But we decided not to have anyone service the room while we were out. No safe for jewelry, at least not one I saw, and if they were too cheap to furnish kleenex, I doubt a wall safe would have been in their budget. So I looked around for a "Do Not Disturb" door hanger. Nothing. So I called down to the desk person. She said, "Motel 6 doesn't furnish DO NOT DISTURB signs." So I asked what I was supposed to do, write a note ON the door? She said yes. Really? ON the door? She said I could put a paper note on the door. There was no paper, no tape to fasten it, and she said she would bring one up. But she was busy, of course, So we went downstairs, returned their blow dryer in exchange for my partner's driver's license, and she made a note, put tape on it, and my partner went back up to the 4th floor to tape it to the door. I asked for the check out time (noon), and told her we would find another place to stay for these next three nights. She was a new employee, very sweet (Nancy, I think), and said she was SO sorry. I told her it wasn't her fault, but that her company ran the cheapest establishment at which I had ever stayed. Even really creepy cheap places have Do Not Disturb signs and little bottles of shampoo. So we have now booked ourselves into the Hilton Garden Inn, just down the street, with breakfast, KLEENEX (!!), and the standard room amenities. I'm back to my vow to NEVER again stay at a Motel 6!

Needs Cleaning and UpdatesStaff was very nice, but property and room was dirty and noisy. Very thin walls. For $49 or less ok, but for $100+, no thank you. Unfortunately had to re-pack and check out early. It says I have to write 200 characters for this review, but that's all I have to say. Thanks.

Clean room but crummy serviceRoom was very well taken care of but the front staff was not courteous at all. She didn't make eye contact and seemed to be in a bad mood. No they do not have to be over the top but to not even make eye contact or a simple smile. I have worked in customer service for 30 yrs and I know if anything smile and make eye contact. Sometimes that goes a long way for someone making a pit stop in a foreign place. This was not my first stay here but it may be my last. Little things go a long way.

4 different cockroaches in my day and a half stay!! Rude service and even dirtier rooms!!So first of all the night I checked in I got out of the shower and there was a huge 3 cockroaches by the bathroom door.. later that night I was falling asleep and got up to get a drink and there was another huge cockroach.. it was a different one because I definitely killed the first one and flushed it down the toilet. My second night I came back to my room and of course the was another cockroach.. again I killed and flushed it. I left to grab something to eat and met a friend.. I was going to let my friend use my car and had forgotten my key in the room. So I went to the office to get another. The lady at the office than had told me if someone else was staying in my room they would need to leave.. I told her it is just me staying in my room that I do have a friend over and he was going to borrow my car until tomorrow. Not like it was any of her business anyways.. she than had a security guard say that my tire is flat.. I know for a fact that it wasnt because I just got back from grabbing something to eat. So I called my friend that was going to borrow my car for the night to check the tire that they said was flat, it was not. So I figured they had the wrong people or car.. she rolled her eyes as if I was lying.. finally she gave me a key to my room.. I left a little later to walk to the gas station because I needed a drink since I let my friend borrow my car that night... as I was walking I ended up calling the office to let them know that when I got back to my room I checked and none of my tires were flat. She again didnt believe me, I dont understand what the big deal was even if it was flat or why she didnt just walk to my room/car and check. I told her she must have the wrong person. But I just wanted to let her know.. she than said a guy in a black car was trying to get a key to my room earlier. My car is black but no body even knew I stayed there until I came to the office to get a key so there was no way possible it was for me because I was with the only person I knew in Austin all night and I never even needed a key to my room until I walked up from my room.. I dont know what her deal was with me. So I told her if anyone ask for a key to my room and its not me to not give one to whoever asks.. she hangs up on me. I ended was going to stay one more night, I went to pay right before 11am for check out and the lady that is usually nice says that I am now on the do not stay list..! I am shocked and ask why that would be and apparently the lady from the night before said I had someone staying the night... what in the hell! The whole thing was very unprofessional and was very unfair as it was only me staying in the room and I really think she just had it out for me or had the wrong person because again my tire wasnt flat and it was only me staying in the room.. so witbthe very very rude service I had gotten and the cockroachs so many different times with in my stay I do NOT recommend staying here! Save your self the headache of dealing with the unprofessional service and the nasty room by the way I ended up cleaning my room because of you walked with out shoes your bottom of your feet would turn black just from walking from the bed to the bathroom... literally just spend $5-$10 more dollars and stay at the la Quinta like two buildings up.. I ended up staying there the next night and everything was just so much better than staying here at the motel 6. I travel all the time and live in hotels all over the United States and this has got to be one of the worst experiences... I attached the pictures of the cockroachs from the days that I stayed.. gross rooms!
