ATTENTION AMERICANS DON'T COME HERESorry to get all caps lock on you. This isn't about the hookers. Hookers are neither here nor there, in Germany. They're in the parking lot. This is about technical difficulties between US credit cards and the rest of the world, and booking.com and 24h motels, and how artificial intelligence is not nearly ready to deal with real world problems. It took us 36 minutes to get into our room. Another couple left in frustration. A human lady had to come down and yell at us and then come down again and open up the human kiosk. There were three problems: 1. We arrived after 2200, which is apparently the time the humans at the desk go away. 2. booking.com had not given us a reference number in the hotel's format, only their own format. 3. We did not have a credit card with a PIN number, only a couple of cards with a chip, and a few more in the long-obsolete American style. The gate robot demands one of their reference numbers and then when the angry lady has fixed it so that the number from booking.com is in the system, it won't read your credit card and she has to come downstairs again. Key words in German to learn: "NICHT SCHREIEN! RUHE!" The room is to the Formule1 formula, which is who built the hotel and then offloaded it to the Orange Group. I am OK with not having a bathroom in my prefabricated tiny room (the bathrooms seem worn. The beginnings of black mold in the plastic joints, no big deal, your bathroom at home is probably worse, especially if you are staying here) and pleased that someone actually made the bed while we were out for the day (does anyone stay two nights at a Formule1?) etc. but Formule1 and Motel 24h are off limits until the American banks truly get their act together. Oh, and the WiFi didn't work.

SimpleThis is a simple accomodation to spend the night when on the road. You will only find staff at a reception for some hours in the morning and at the evening after 5pm. For other hours you can check and pay at the machine in the entrance. When checking in at the machine just remember to have something to write down your roomnumber and code to open your door since the receipt will not have this information and the screen of the machine will return to startmode after a minute or so. Rooms are basic and you will find shower and toiletts in the corridor of each floor.

Its ok for a nightIt was the only place to stay left for the period we were there. The good thing: It is clean. Be aware that it has shared bathrooms and that reception is not always manned. And when it is, the guy is rather grumpy and everything you asked for seems to be a mission for him (change to get something out of the vending machine, call a taxi, pay for breakfast, ...). We stayed for 3 nights and had to go across to BK to access some functioning internet. In short: You can stay there but I dont recommend it for more than 1-2 nights.

PoorThis hotel is cheap, and you definitely get what you pay for....its nothing special. According to my father, uncomfortable room, difficult access to the bathroom, and rude personnel. My 80 year old dad was visiting Germany to visit his ailing sister, probably for the last time. He had been staying with some older friends, but they had some visiting family suddenly show up and he needed to find another place to stay. My dad didnt have computer access or a phone to be able to call around and see what was available for rooms, so he sort of grabbed one of the first places that he came across. And although he can speak German, being 80 he can still be taken advantage of. After checking in, not only was he upset about not having appropriate access to the bathroom , but a family emergency arose and he needed to check out early. Now I understand not refunding him all of his money, but it is ridiculous that they wouldnt refund him at least some of the nights he paid for....so in the end he paid for 8 nights, and even though he only stayed one night, they wouldnt give him any of his money back. I think that is a total rip off and they should be ashamed of themselves. I could maybe even understand if If they missed out on renting the room because they were fully booked and had turned other people away. But that was not the case, as when I looked on the internet, there were still a rooms available for the time he would have been there. Just a pure money grab, by what in my opinion is a bunch of crooks running a disreputable hotel.

Bad serviceA person Called Christian working as a receptionist is directly rude and racist.Stayed only for a night but his Way of giving White skin People better service is over my limit. When I confronted With his mistake, he just ignored and went his Way. I wouldnt recommend This place to anyone. Hope This kind of person Will be kicked off This chain motel.
