  Excellent hotel

  Traditional Austrian hotel which has been modernised. We had a very large room on the first floor with seating area and a large bathroom plus balcony, all very clean and well furnished. It was pouring with rain when we arrived, continued all night and into the morning so we could not walk round the area much but there appeared to be a nice town/village nearby. We did not have mountain views. Lovely large restaurant/breakfast room in Tyrolean style. Excellent breakfast and evening meal with very large portions. There was a spa/sauna. There appeared to be a large garden at the back of the property but it was too wet to investigate. Very efficient and friendly staff and our dog was accepted with no problems, plenty of free parking surrounding the hotel

  ALMOST Excellent

  We stayed here for one night on our way through to Munich and were very pleasantly surprised. This is a very quaint little hotel nestled in the Alps and we loved it. The only thing that prevented me from giving it an "excellent" mark was the fact that the beds were too hard for our liking. Others might feel differently. The rooms are very spacious and if you get one on the 2nd floor like we did you can have a sizeable outdoor balcony. Ours was huge and overlooked part of the town and the nearby mountain range. It was spectacular. We ended up having dinner at the restaurant and we are glad we did. It was reasonably priced, the portions were huge and the quality was excellent. Mostly traditional German/Austrian fare. The apple strudel was excellent. There were 6 of us so we got 3- one with ice cream, one with whipped cream and one with custard. All were amazing! So, to us the "weird" stuff stuck out but we loved the charm. Firstly the decor is something like a clash of Victorian and French colonial. it is very strange but somehow charming. Lots of pastels. Then the hallways at night...all of the lighting is on motion sensors so at night when my wife opened the door to hang the do not disturb thing on the handle it was DARK in the hallway. Kind of creepy. We texted our daughter downstairs on the next floor to check it out. Her response? "REDRUM" (Google this Stephen King reference if you have not heard it before). It sounds creepy but we loved it. The place is absolutely charming and really not creepy at all. It must be a Western European thing to control the hallway lights as we had another hotel with the same feature. The free breakfast in the morning was very good and set us up nicely for the day.

  Beautiful place

  Beautiful place to stopover, stayed while visiting Erhenberg Castle and the Skywalk. Everything was fantastic from staff, food through to the rooms! Good prices Would definitely go back and also probably explore Lake Plansee more as that to looks a wonderful place to visit and stay

  Fantastic hotel

  We stayed at The Moserhof for 5 nights and really enjoyed our visit. We felt immediately at home. We had two rooms and they were clean, large and had lovely balconies facing the Castle and suspension bridge. The hotel has a lift which was great for our suitcases and my Dad who can't really manage the stairs now. This hotel is family run and the restaurant is lovely too. You can walk to the Thermebaths from the hotel easily. Would we stay again? Most definately yes!

  Lovely hotel with great views

  This a is a lovely hotel situated in Reutte at the northern end of the Fernpass. The hotel has ample free parking and is easy to find. We were given a warm welcome and check in was quick and easy. Our room was enormous with 2 seating areas and a balcony, offering lovely views of the surrounding hills and castles. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. Our favourite thing though was that we could see the Highline 179 footbridge, that we had visited earlier in the day, from our room. The hotel restaurant is good value and offers great food.
