    Near beach, excellent service

This small hotel is a few minutes walk from the beach and Park Jelitkowski in Oliwa, on a quiet street. We got the last available room for the busiest weekend of the year, and for the second and third nights, we got a better room. We had excellent service from the desk and in the restaurant at all times, the friendly young staff were most helpful in providing information and serving our needs. The bathrooms were good, but the beds were twins (earlier booking would perhaps get a double room). The restaurant was very good, with a really excellent breakfast, which includes items served at the table (the nalesniki are to die for) and the well-provided Swedish buffet. We also had one dinner, which was good. Someone can come to the front desk at all times. There is a waterslide facility on the beach near the hotel, but of course the great beach is there for walking, and it takes about half an hour to hike to Sopot in one direction, and to the Gdansk shipyards in the other. Between the beach and the main road is a protected green belt (about 50 metres) with passages about every 100 metres, a paved walkway, a paved bicycle highway and about 100 metres of park. This goes on for about 30 kilometres.

    Complete satisfaction

This is not a big hotel (15 rooms on two floors), where a guest doesnt feel anonymously like in other larger building of that sort. It must be emphasised the helpfulness and kindness of the staff who do the best to satisfy wishes or requests of the visitors. The hotel offers 3 meals. A breakfast can be considered to be modest, but for me was sufficient and above all tasty. Apart from the things on the trays one can order a hot meal from the menu. The room was cleaned every day. There were LCD TV set, a little radio, a small electric kettle, tiny tea-bags, instant coffee, sugar, two sets of cups with plate and two teaspoons. Two small bottles of water (two types) are daily supplied. In the wardrobe is put a hair dryer. Whereas there are the towels of three dimensions in the small bathroom and soaps, shampoo as well. Unfortunately (like in the majority of the hotels) the walls between rooms are thin, so if you want or not you hear the loud talks of neighbours. There are no lift (a landlord offers help with bringing luggage up) and a fridge in room. The hotel is an excellent centre for visiting Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia. There is the tram depot in short distance from the hotel; in 25 minutes one can reach the city centre of Gdansk (to get to the Old Town you should get off a tram (nos 6 or 8) on the next stop after Main Railway Station, the stop is called Brama Wyzynna). As regards the reaching Sopot the best way is to go by the seaside promenade (it takes about 30 minutes on foot to get to the famous Sopot molo (pier). To enter the pier one have to buy a ticket: a normal ticket costs 7,50 zlotys (about 1,8 eur), a reduced ticket 4,00 zlotys (about 1 eur). Along that promenade (I think from Gdansk Brzezno to Gdynia Orowo) there is the wonderful cycle lane. And now the most important thing at present: only in a few minutes you can get to the beautiful sandy beach. Nearby there are numerous pubs, bars and restaurants. All in green surroundings.

    cosy little hotel

This hotel is located in a relaxed area, but close to Jelikowo tramstation, so it is easy to reach different directions of Gdansk. Ten minutes walk from the beach with several bars and restaurants. Walkingdistance to Sopot along the beachside. The family who own the place do everything possible to make you satisfied. English speaking,- and a little swedish too! Breakfast is very good, and in the summer you can have it served on the terrasse. We had dinner one night and it was excellent! Safe area and freeparking in front of the hotel. We stayed for three nights ,and had an excellent stay.

Nice clean place good customer service and great location stayed here a few times over the last 7 or 8 years only complaint is that it starting to get alittle pricey. I guess thats the way of the world though.
