  Muy aceptable

  Escapada con amigos. 4 noches. Habitación amplia, camas cómodas. La ducha no tiene presión (es la única pega que le pondré). La comida es buena, el desayuno suficiente y el personal muy amable!! Cambian moneda. Es una buena opción!!

  Great hotel for lunch.

  Don't be put out by the size and name of this hotel if it is just lunch you are looking for. This was a great place to relax and have lunch served with a smile, all be it behind a mask!!!! Very safe to visit. The food was excellent. I had the salmon, and my sister had the chicken with avocado. Both were devoured in no time! I would certainly go back.

  Tired but vkean

  Stayed for a couple of nights with friends on a road trip. Big old building with large rooms, all very traditional but tired and in need of decoration/refurb. Food generally simple pub fayre but good value. Breakfast ok.

  Really good service and value but a bit tired

  A good, and popular place to stop on the NCC500. Very easy to deal with, and we booked direct which was easy and straightforward. Nice bar area and restaurant for breakfast and dinner, both of which were tasty albeit relatively simple (which isnt a bad thing). Ample car parking. Rooms are comfortable, and well equipped. Decor throughout is tired and in need of a refresh, and the exterior could benefit from some tidying up. Staff were very friendly and helpful, which made for a really pleasant stay.

  Imposing Country House hotel on outskirts of Tain

  The hotel is a imposing country house just outside Tain. Room was chilly on arrival but was fine later. Lovely room with 4 poster bed. Bathroom was well equipped and included a jacuzzi bath. Due to Covid the hotel only had a limited menu. Food was good but spoiled by staff to advising that certain desserts were not available. We decided to go for main and starter rather than a starter and main but were only informed that dessert I wanted was not available when we went to order. A little bit of staff training would avoid such an issue. Breakfast was excellent and made to order. We enjoyed our stay in this lovely old building and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone touring in North of Scotland.
