  Great spot, fantastic people

  The room was great, clean, tidy and comfortable. Perfect location handy to everything. We decided to stay an extra night and the people at reception took the trouble to do some shuffling so we could keep the same room. Much appreciated.

  Luxury Plus.

  Recently stayed for 2 nights at this magnificent establishment, surely the pearl in the oyster of Metung. Wish we had stayed a few more days! From the arrival where we were greeted so warmly, to the luxurious apartment, to the ambience of the place, everything was perfect. We had the 2 bedroom bay views apartment, definitely worth the little bit extra for the larger size and room. The fit out was very tasteful, lovely view over the boats and out to the water, perfection. Will be going back for sure.

  Grumpy owner hostile on arrival

  Arrived at this place after 2.00pm, drove into their rather small car park near reception, where there clearly was no space to park your small car except in the unit blocks that were vacant at the time. Because of Covid-19, only 1 person was allowed in to Reception at a time. The elderly man with white hair seemed somewhat agitated that we had parked in that vacant car park across Reception and rudely came out and told us to remove the car from there and park in this spot with him pointing his finger. Perhaps the owner should put up a sign of where you can and cannot park in the future. We checked in, our room was on the ground floor, on their website it said there was a microwave in the room, there was not, which was disappointing. The cleaning of the room was okay, noticed quite a bit of dust on their skirting boards and the bottom part of the mirror in the bathroom was not cleaned properly, the tissue box in the bathroom had only one tissue left in it, having seen the cleaners the next day, I asked for another box, which was replaced happily with a smile on her face. We found that when we went out in our car, that our car parking spot had been taken by other guests in return, which in my view is poor as there is no system for the bottom units. Its first in first serve basis. I wont be back.

  Very relaxing stay

  We had to cancel this booking twice last year due to COVID restrictions. Third time lucky and worth the wait. Our upstairs Bancroft Bay unit was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Also well appointed and had great views over the bay. Allocated car space and well maintained bbqs. Short walk to hotel and cafes. Jim and Barbara were very patient with the rebooking process and hospitable during our stay. Very relaxing stay.

  Great location

  We stayed in the 1 bedroom spa suite and had a balcony facing the lake. We were on the road side but not much traffic as the road only leads to a dead end. The unit was spacious and had everythinng we needed. Well stocked kitchen and full sized fridge. Couches were comfy and bed was too. I didn't necessarily like the fact that the main entry door opened up into the bedroom but it wasn't a deal breaker. The facility had a great pool area with a good sized indoor heated and an outdoor pool. The indoor facitlity also housed a spa. There is direct entry to the river from the facility and plenty of parking. The location was brilliant...right next door to the shops/cafes. Manager was very friendly and helpful...we had left our car lights on and he warned us that evening when he noticed.
