Campestre!Hotel en el fin del mundo, sin nada alrededor. Nos cobraron 133 desayuno incluido. Si pagábamos con la tarjeta de crédito nos cobraban Comisión...a no ser k pagáramos con la tarjeta de su propio banco....

Below average hotelStart with the good: the room was comfortable and clean. Now the not so good: 1)Waited for 15 minutes to check in while the waiter served food to people in the restaurant. 2)The free WIFI is worthless in the rooms, not even good for checking email. 3)The breakfast is stated to go until 10am but after 9:15am, only a couple of items were replenished. All the granola was gone; the scrambled eggs were gone; the only bacon was a dozen pieces literally buried under an inch of grease; no napkins available. When I asked the waitress for a napkin she stormed off without a word then came back with a stack of cocktail napkins, again, without a word. A waiter brought out more bread then disappeared quickly. 4)At checkout, the same waitress that couldn't or refused to talk at the buffet, did the same at the checkout counter. Grunting out the amount due without making eye contact or saying anything like a greeting. Definitely didn't ask how my stay was - didn't care. Damn tourists should just leave their money and go away. All this wonderful service for $150.00USD / night! Find somewhere else to stay.

Tja !!!Tja, it was the only hotel in town, and the only restaurant, and it was clearly that there was no competition around. If you ask for something to be fix, nothing happened, and the food, another tja. They have 3 different meals on the menu, but the different was the meat, and the white asparges was green all over. Will we be back, tja, must really think over it. If they will do something good, then they have to wake up, and start moving, if something dont work, then fix it, and maybe try to make another menu card, with something else than green asparges, carrot puree.

If you expect any minimal hotel service, avoid this hotelIn June 2020 we decided to take a road trip on the danish western coast and this hotel caught our attention with the interior design, the natural surroundings and the calm vibe. The hotel has great potential if you are into old furniture, lounge chairs and a fireplace in the lobby. Our room was fully equipped, clean and had a huge bed. We had a great view towards the forest. We had a good sleep and did not miss anything while in there. That was the highlight of that stay. Once we stepped out of the room, we experienced the worst service weve had in a long time. Upon arrival, we waited about 10min for someone to notice us in the lobby. No bell to ring. Finally someone from the restaurant came, handed our key and left. 20sec conversation. Nothing about where the room is, when and where is breakfast, have a good stay, if you need anything.... Hours later we thought a 4 star hotel should have a decent dinner menu that we can enjoy so we went to the restaurant. Still no one at the reception to ask, I.e. if we need a booking. So we went directly to the restaurant where we waited another 10min for someone to even look at us. Two waiters were running around without seeing or wanting to see us. When we finally got seated, we got a menu and decided to order each a main dish and a juice. After a fairly decent waiting time, we got our food, however even if both our dishes stated new potatoes, none of us got them. We spent the next 10min trying to figure out if they are coming, if the waiter will notice us or simply look at us or just go ahead and eat. The potatoes never came, nor did the waiter. The food was below average. My beef with few scattered vegetables and no potatoes :) was definitely not worth 298 dkk. When we left, we mentioned it would have been nice to get the full order, but the reaction from the waiter was : oh, where there potatoes? Didnt know. We just left after that. The same waiter who ignored us, was very friendly with other guests around us, joking and talking about the weather. We found out soon that the priority was given to the guests booked on pension packages.

Poor serviceWe have used this hotel once / twice annually for the past 8-10 years. The standard has over time gradually declined and unfortunately same goes for the service. It ended today with us being charged an extra night because of checking out 2hr 45min late, which should have its price - but a full night when the cleaning teams were still cleaning other rooms is a shameful behaviour towards a long-term loyal guest in my view. Especially as the reception was completely empty for new guests waiting to check in. Loyal guest lost and will not return.
