Hotel Montjola St AntonWe stayed in the Montjola christmas week, we had a fantastic week, the staff were brilliant we had Tom and Liam serving us throughout the week who were great, sorry I cant remember the other girls names who also served us but all the Neilson team should get a special mention for being so helpful and friendly as well as Tom the Manager. Our rooms were very nice, large and clean, all 3 of our rooms had a balcony. We have skied many years but this was one of my favourite hotels. Neilson have only just took over this hotel this season and they have certainly made it nice. The food was very good too. We were in St Anton as a family group of 6 and loved it, we stored our skis and boots in a shop near the lift at the bottom of the slope so the small walk up to the hotel was fine for us, we actually found it a nice walk, although you can catch the regular bus back up, which we only used once to bring our skies and boots back the last day. All in all we had a fab week loved it, I will definitely return. thanks Neilson.

One hell of a hill to climb!14 of us visited the hotel for one week as of the 18th January. The food was fairly basic and very English which was made incrementally better after each sip of the bitter table wine. The rooms were clean, but disappointingly, the towels were not changed at all throughout the week. When put in the bath, they were just hung back up. Rather bizarrely, we had a sofa delivered to our room after our last day of skiing (approx 5pm) whilst relaxing. Surely, you would wait a few more hours until we left the following morning at 5:30am to return to the UK, or have moved it in during the day whilst we were out skiing? I booked a lesson through the Neilsons hotel rep for three hours, the instructor (Clara) was fantastic. Unfortunately, I was told by the rep that a two hour lesson is about 90 euros so I booked three hours at 135 euros. Have just checked my credit card and over £213 has been debited. Absolutely no mention of this amount prior. My advice is to make sure you pay for everything prior to booking it to prevent any surprises. Overall, an average hotel. The best part of the hotel is Tom and the bar staff (cant remember his name) - most genuine and knowledgeable people I met out there. A really decent couple of lads.

Neilson's ski Chalet weekFantastic stay at a great Chalet Hotel. Tom and his team really looked after the six of us. Great fun, excellent service. The bar area was a real plus for pre and post dinner drinks. Rooms were cleaned and tidied each week. The chalet is about half a mile from the slopes and centre of town, there is a free bus and you can leave your boots and skis in a locker at the bottom of the slopes. I understand that the hotel are looking to arrange their own shuttle later in the season

Great HolidayRecently got back from one of the best holidays we have had. Tom and the team have been fabulous and the hotel is very well presented! The bar area was great for socialising and unwinding at the end of a long day. Food was very good and the rooms were spacious and clean! Thanks to Zoe for the mountain expert days such a great thing to sign up for if you get the chance really helps you to get to know the area. Yes there is a big hill but the bus is availible if you don't fancy the walk. Everything went smoothly and would definitely return in the future! Thanks everyone!

Excellent Staff- a bit out of town though...As a Neilson beach club regular, I wasnt disappointed by this holiday. For a group of guys, it was great. Staff were exceptionally good, all English and couldnt do enough to help. Tom the manager was great, super helpful and seemingly always present, Lucas behind the bar was also great (we managed to have the highest room tab of the season haha). Down sides are: Rooms a little tired but always very clean Not much choice for evening food but I was always happy with what I had. It is a bit of a trek to and from town, but a free bus runs pretty regularly. Im used to ski in/ski out, so this is a minor gripe but the trip was such good value that I can not moan! Overall recommended, just be aware of the walk into town and to the lifts!
