  Ill be back

  Because of the virus we had to shorten our stay. Of course this is just a minor disappointment considering what is going on. But we really would love to go back to Montigo because its such a great place. We upgraded our room to a downstairs one and I do recommend that because you walk from your balcony to the pool and the pool bar. Apart from the 3 pools its a short walk to the Petitenget beach and in 15 minutes you walk to the heart of Seminyak and Eat Street. Most of all though we were impressed by the staff. Who ever is responsible for staff training and selecting staff does a brilliant job because - without exception - we found the staff most helpful, anticipating how they could help and happy to have a little chat. The breakfast was also excellent, a great choice of food and as soon as anything ran low, it was topped up. They also offered the best coffee, espresso, latte, whatever you want. So yes, as Arne says, well be back and we very much look forward to it. No doubt Montigo will also be severely impacted by the virus crisis. We feel for them, their staff and everybody who is impacted and hope things will e back to normal sooner rather than later.

  Excellent

  Sadly for the locals it was a very quiet time when we were there, which was great for us as there was plenty of room in any one of the three pools, the bar and the dining area. We were a family group of 10 which included four children aged from 11 to 12 months - but this was not a problem. Unfortunately, I cannot recall all the wonderful staff we encountered, but several do come to mind...Rose our driver who collected us from the airport and then took us back when we left - she did a great job and was very informative - a lovely lady. Also Olivia - another lovely person who was a pleasure to chat with and who took a shine to the 12 month old. Then Charlie at the pool - who was happy to fulfil any request...there are more, but sadly I cannot recall their names....but they were all great. Also, the ladies in the Kids Club.. deserve a special mention as they were amazing and they are sadly missed by the kids in our group. This place is a great bonus for parents. All in all - a great place to stay and in an excellent location. Unfortunately, due to world issues I feel for this resort, but can only hope that they can continue and get back to a normal status as soon as possible. Would I return....YES in a heartbeat. Montigo management, look after your team as you have some great people there....

  Perfect stay

  The hotel is located in the heart of Seminyak. Has a huge pool located in the middle of the hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Great restaurant which faces Main Street. Easy access to walk and shop around. Great customer service from all the employees in the front desk and restaurants. Will definitely go back and highly recommend it.

  TERRIBLE!

  I had to cancel a trip here and was promised a refund by the resort for 150 days, now they are refusing to refund my trip after waiting the time they requested. I have sent 4-5 emails with no responses. Booking.com have now stated they are refusing to refund!!

  All Round Amazing

  Montigo Resorts was truly incredible from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the whole stay was exceptional! The staff were beyond lovely, accommodating, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. It is because of the beautiful staff that we will definitely be staying at Montigo next time we are in Bali! Facilities, breakfast and pools were all spot on, as was the location which was close to Potato Head but also a short walk to town.
