    A romantic getaway

    This is a very cosy and romantic hotel, located at a quiet spot, but still very near the beach and the main promenade. The waiting staff is very professional, punctual, and best of all truly polite and friendly. The rest of the staff, including the owner were also very nice to us and made our honeymoon fabulous. Our room was nice and clean, with a comfy bed and a terrace. The food is amazing, and I'd recommend the full board arrangement. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and will hopefully come again in the future.

    The hotel is very comfortable and well placed, close to the beach and all local attractions. The stuff is nice and very welcoming, we had a great time there! The hotel is basically family owned, so the stuff is very friendly and they adress all your needs with excellence. I highly recommend Montere Guest House if you are staying in Petrovac.

    Clean with terrible food

    The hotel offers basic amenities but it very clean. It's located about 5 minutes away from the sea (on foot). Staff are very nice and helpful, however only ladies at the reception speak English. General vibe of the hotel is VERY oldschool, when you order a dinner you are not presented with a menu, instead all waiters have the menu written down on little post it's. Since they don't speak English you don't really know what you're ordering. When you finally get the food, it's normally cold and terrible in taste. It's very greasy. Portions are very big, but since they food is bad you cannot enjoy it. The owner seems to sit at the patio all the time and just complain about the guests. Wifi connection is very poor. The hotel could be recommended as a low budget accommodation if it was a lot cheaper, but since it's on par with other hotels in the area I would recommend staying somewhere else.
