  I stayed for four weeks at the Montego Sands It was very clean and quiet and has a great location near beach shops tram The manager Terry was very friendly and helpful over and above the usual and the staff keep the common areas very clean I would stay there again The bed in the apartment was extra comfy and if I left the window open at night I could hear the surf which was lovely

  HUGE Room, but stll some things in the fine print.

  Late check-in was SUPER easy! I was a bit afraid of this, but it turned out to be an easy in. However, the paperwork that you sign they require that you write down your credit card details and then sign the bottom of the page. I do understand that it's for damages, but it feels weird writing down your credit card details, on paper, for anybody. Second fine print thing, no shampoo. I figured it was a budget place, but if you're providing soaps, and laundry detergent, how hard is it to supply shampoo. Again, not the end of the world just an annoyance. Lastly, while they do offer luggage storage, it's only during their office hours. So, if you travel late on Sundays (like most people I know), you have to check out at 10am and then collect your luggage at noon when they close the desk. If you have a 7pm flight (like I did) this was not even an option. So "luggage storage" is a bit more than what they actually provide. Rooms were BIG! Bed was comfy! Full kitchen was great as well. The room itself was clean. And a great location near the beach!

  Lovely refurbished room, great location.

  I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the room. It was ground floor with a little patio. The room had been refurbished and was really nice and very clean, lovely bathroom with big shower (no bath). I would definitely stay again. It was close to everything I needed. Terry also, couldn't have been more helpful when I needed to alter my booking.

  Affordable unit in great location

  We have stayed at Montego Sands Resort many times and love the location. We keep coming back for the beautiful beach and the value for money for the unit. The beach is at the end of the street and it is a few minutes walk along the beach to the flagged swimming area. Mermaid Beach is a lovely beach, not too busy (by Gold Coast standards). Montego Sands is in a great location for the beach but also very close to the large Broadbeach park, Pacific Fair (large shopping complex including cinemas), numerous restaurants and the light rail. The complex is fairly small with about 20 units. There is a pool, outdoor spa and BBQ area. Terry and family are great managers and always happy to help and make your stay enjoyable. There is secure parking under the building. The complex has 3 floors, no lifts. The two bedroom units are on the top floor and over split levels which we enjoyed as a family of 5. We had other family stay in the one bedroom units. Ground floor units are great if stairs are a problem (such as staying with a baby in a pram). The units were clean. Kitchen is small but has everything you need on holiday. This is not a serviced five star resort with all toiletries etc supplied. Montego Sands is an affordable unit with a small quantity of essentials such as soap and dishwashing liquid supplied initially. We grabbed all these essentials at the supermarket nearby for our lovely 9 night stay this year. We look forward to staying again!

  Excellent!

  The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very well located! Great value for money. The unit was clean and had everything I required. Really enjoyed my stay and recommend Montego Sands resort as a place to book for your stay.
