nothing is too much troubleWe were so lucky to enjoy a few days at this lovely place - the rooms were spacious, spotlessly well-kept, and very airy, with a view across the village to the hills beyond. it was a great base for walking, and the track across the hills to Fourno beach was lovely. We were really impressed by George, who sorted out anything we needed, and always with a smile.

Good value accommodationWe stayed for 2 nights in mid-May 2015. The room was very spacious and we had the additional amenity of a large and well equipped communal kitchen and dining room downstairs. The room would benefit from some reconfiguration of the furniture as it was necessary to climb over the beds to get in and there is some electrical work to complete internally. Outside a little more work around the patio is needed. However there was a wonderful view in the distance and it was excellent value for money in this very interesting part of the island and I can recommend this for the traveller o a budget.

Spacious room and lovely staff. The staff is very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. the room was spacious and basic. Our room was facing the main street, but it was still quiet. the location is close by the Monolithos church and there's great beach nearby. And the town is full of lovely people and animals.

Beautiful location, friendly owners and lovely roomWe were the only ones staying for one night so had sole use of the kitchen. Lovely and clean area with big fridge/freezer. Not sure what this would be like in peak season with everyone sharing but for us it was ideal. Room was very clean with outside sitting area leading to communal tables and chairs. Views are great over the valley. Owners are a very friendly couple who were very helpful. A great change from the hustle and bustle of Rhodes Town and Lindos

Perfect stay in the quiet south of Rhodes IslandWe had booked a stay in Thomas Hotel but were upgraded to stay at Monolithos Village. Our room and private bathroom were very nice, big enough and very clean. AC and WiFi worked fine and were free of charge. There is a very big and perfectly equipped kitchen that can be used by all guests of Monolithos Village. Also all the rooms have a terrace with a very nice view. We had breakfast at Thomas Hotel which we enjoyed every day, especially the yoghurt and local honey. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful, I just love the greek hospitality. I would totally recommend staying in Monolithos, either at Thomas Hotel or at Monolithos Village. You can only get there with a rental car or Taxi (70 from the Airport) as the bus seems to run only once a week but once you're there you will probably enjoy you stay as much as we do: Away from the very touristy north of the island, the south is quiet, green and just beautiful with a lot to discover. We had a wonderful time!
