  Merveilleux!

  A great stay in an historic building close to the city centre and across the road from the beach. Gerard is an engaging and entertaining host (ask him about the rugby) a personality as big as his breakfasts, which are excellent. Fantastic we should have stayed longer, but had to move on to Whanganui!

  Fantastic bed and breakfast. Gerard was so welcoming and the room was great. The breakfast was delicious and its in a great location. The room was warm, clean and very comfortable. Perfect getaway for a weekend.

  We stayed for 2 nights in July. It's a great location, lovely historic building and Gerard is a top host. I would most definitely stay again and highly recommend this as the place to stay in Napier. Andrew

  Awesome place to stay - and a great host

  I stayed for two nights. The hotel and the room I stayed in, naturally have a great deal of continental character, which I enjoyed. Room was immaculately clean, quite, and the king size bed very comfortable. There is a living room where one can read, or work on the laptop, with juice and cookies and coffee and tea to help oneself to all day and without charge. Best thing about the stay was the outstanding breakfast, prepared by the owner and host, Gerard. Muesli and fruit salad and yogurt, and Gerard's ham ommelettes which are among the best I have ever had. Also croissants of course. Washed down with coffee and juice. The croissants are made by Gerard himself and tasted fantastic. Gerard kindly provided them in the living room during the day and also gave some to take home. There was just one couple staying there and myself (I visited outside of the weekend and in the winter). Gerard would join us for coffee at the breakfast table and the four of us had highly enjoyable conversations both mornings I was there. Obviously highly recommended! Wei (from Auckland)

  Fantastic bed and breakfast

  Gerard took wonderful care of us! The rooms were delightful, with extremely comfortable beds. The breakfast was truly outstanding, as was the breakfast time conversation. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Gerard at Mon Logis.
