  Style , comfort and quality in a charming package

  Starting with a most charming welcome, through a superb meal until our reluctant departure, the friendliness, quality of service and care for guests were clearly paramount. The hotel is perfectly located to enjoy the plethora of beautiful walks in this most scenic of areas.

  Love Hotel Modena

  Hotel Modena in Bad Steben deserves a five star rating in friendliness, food, and personalized service. My husband and I are concluding our 9-week stay content, happy, connected, enriched, and well cared for by the Voss family owners Stefanie, Volker, and Karin and their two Golden Retrievers, Cosmos and Hardy. Waking each morning to an array of breakfast delights from the buffet in the charming dining room and being greeted with smiles, coffee and tea from Stefanie will be sorely missed. The evening meals are sumptuous, varied, and exquisitely prepared with only the freshest ingredientsrivaling 4/5 star restaurants in the area. The Pub/Bistro is a fun place to meet the locals, have an afternoon coffee or dessert, play games, or have some great German beer. Most importantly, the personalized care of Stefanieher willingness to translate, call the taxi, respond to individual requests and needs, and provide helpful information about everything. She could always be trusted to follow-through and even anticipate needs. This was particularly important to me as I was undergoing 3 surgical procedures on my legs during our stay in a country whose language I do not know. The Voss family runs a first-class hotel with heart, humor, and high standardsa special place to which many guests return each year.

  IDILIC HOTEL

  This is an idilic hotel in an amazing location. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. Extremely friendly staff always trying to help and make your stay more comfortable. Awesome complimentary breakfast. There are very nice attractions nearby such us Thermes, swimming pool, bars, restaurants, etc.

  Agradable y limpio pero la habitación era muy pequeña

  La habitación que me toco era muy pequeña con una cama de niño y con un baño de los gnomos. Todo impecable eso sí y muy limpio. El trato fue muy muy agradable y el desayuno bueno y variado. Wifi excelente.

  Friendly and warm

  After a long solo trip from Australia and many hours on the train to this beautiful town it was so comforting to be greeted by name as they were expecting me and taken to a clean warm and inviting room. This hotel has a real family feel and Steph the owner with her parents provide wonderful service above and beyond what is expected! Step even drove me to the next town to try and get a hire car for my trip. Most places struggle with communication in these small towns but Steph who is well travelled has perfect English and is more then happy to explain things or help in anyway she can:) If staying in this town again I would stay at Hotel Modena for that personal touch.
