  Great all round hotel

  In short; great food, helpful staff, excellent location, good accommodation. We stayed full board at this hotel over New Year, the variety of food was good. There was plenty of choice at the self service buffet and the food was replenished often and was well cooked. I suffered from having eyes bigger than my belly on many occasions because I wanted to try everything. Our children ate well too. The hotel was perfectly located to ski in and out. We could see the ski lifts from our room and the ski school is located on the other side of the hotel next door. I was worried about the sun as I am very prone to getting coldsores, but the sun didn't rise high enough to reach the town or the slopes; so returned home, coldsore free and very happy. The room was plenty big enough and we were lucky enough to stay on the top floor, which meant our room had an upstairs level with bunk beds. Well, this was the best hotel ever as far the children were concerned. The views from our room were great, overlooking the mountains and the town on the other side of the river. The room is decorated with pine furniture - very fitting for an alpine location. Handy to have a separate toilet and bathroom. The bathroom design would benefit with a slight redesign as the shower door/glass wasn't big enough, so the floor got soaked every time one of us had a shower (but that happens every time the children shower at home too.) The mattress was a little on the firm side for me but perfect for my husband, and the pillows were a lot smaller than we are used to. Despite this, I still managed to sleep peacefully each night (but nothing is ever like being at home). We were the only English guests, which was a bit of a struggle as our French is almost non-existent. The staff do well to speak English, and their English is definitely better than our French but not quite strong enough to get across all they want to say. The signs and notice boards do have English translations. We are already discussing when we will go back.

  Ski in/out hotel

  Ski in & ski out hotel. Good place. Hotel near slopes. After good ski day, without big effort I'm in hotel in 1 minute (need to walk 15 meters down stairs to hotel entrance). Tasting food. I like that food included in price. Nice staff.

  Nice experience for ski beginners

  Nice experience for ski beginners as the surrounding station offers lots of easy tracks (green, blue, and some red). It might not be ideal for youngsters as the majority of the hotel guests were either families with very young children or retired people. But we loved the swimming pool and Jacuzzi!

  Good value hotel right on the snow

  Smallish hotel in the MMV chain - modest rooms, hearty down-to-earth French food, location right on the slopes couldnt be better - ski onto the deck outside the bar for an ice-cold beer at the end of the day.

  Good ratio quality / price - Friendly people

  A warm welcome at our arrival. Friendly people all over the stay. Very large and comfortable Bebroom with balcony. Good location of the building. Animation team makes its possible to please the customers.
