  Don't do it!

  We booked it as a last minute holiday and we hadn't checked the reviews unfortunately. The hotel is a disaster. The all inclusive is a joke. The food they serve there is unimaginable. Is just boiled meat and vegetables. No taste, no flavor and just unbeatable. The drinks are just water with flavoured powder. If you want any alcoholic drinks you can not have the good stuff. By good stuff i mean the normal brands. The drinks they prepare is with some unknown russian brands which are horrible. I asked for a Johnny Walker's and the guy from the bar didn't even know what it was and how much it cost. He have me the menu to search and tell him the price. I have no ideea how they got 4* because i have been in 2* stars with better service. The air conditioning is like you have a motor in your room and you can not leave it open when you leave because you get just one key so every time you get back is like a sauna. At least they cleaned the room every day that's a good thingh. The other thing i noticed was that almost everyone in the hotel was Russian including the staff, and everything was target to them. If you wanna stay in Agios nikolaos you will find loads of good hotels with better price and service.

  Think before you book

  64 steps steep up 64 steps down is the first consideration Breakfast just edible Dinner inedible Bars serve local drinks only and close when the restaurant is open so no bar during 7 till 9pm unless you want wine or beer which is served in a corner or the restaurant bar closes completely at 10pm Pool is a plunge pool of about 10ft long freezing cold as the sun does not shine on it around the pool is the smoking tables Roof top bar has sun beds but they are so dirty and broken you cannot lay on them no shade either The staff do there best they are over worked have limited English so may come across rude but I find if you smile they smile all in all we treated the place like a bed and breakfast certainly not all inclusive we ate and drank out every day spending approx £100 / £150 a day for couple as drinks and food expensive so no I wouldnt return to the hotel the bay itself is stunning as is Agios Nikolaos The picture is from outside the hotel door looking down to the sea this shows how high you are

  Confusing!

  I will write first the good points,1: the hotel is not as bad as some reviews make out. 2: the stairs are not that bad. 3: there is an alternative route to town centre, at the back of hotel. 4: after paying for upgrade the room with sea view was the best sea view ever. 5:The food is lovely, typical greek cuisine home made by an excellent chef. 6:The receptionist Laine is excellent and will go out of her way to help you. 7: The lady in the dining room Maria, is excellent and a very hard worker.8: The lifts do work and had no problems as mentioned in other reviews. 9: The night reception Emanuelle was lovely , helpful, and made us feel very welcome on arrival.10: The reception and seating areas are well furnished and nicely decorated. Now for the bad points. 1: forget all inclusive , the bar is open only for short periods. 2: the drinks are gruesome, the beer is just bearable. 3: The rooftop bar is never serviced and a bit run down,(could be great). 4: the beer is hardly ever pouring well, there is some sort of problem with the tap,pipe, barrels ,whatever ! 5: The smoking area is the pool side and the smoke creeps into the inside area as all the doors are open .6: The Greek receptionist,Maria? is rude and unhelpful and she even spoke to my husband about me never doing without when I complained to her about the beer not working.??? 7:The pool is more of a plunge pool, 2 people would be a crowd in there, never saw anyone in it and it gets no sun! 8: cleaning is not the best lots of dust under bed, bed not changed all week towels changed after 2 days and then 3 , had to ask for clean ones. 9: rooms in need of some care and attention especially bathroom.10: Hate to say this but the young barman has a bad body odour problem, it kind of lingers even when he has left an area.11: the other guests are mostly Russian and they definitely do not want any interaction with other people other than their fellow countrymen. 12:The Russian guests are always first in the dining room and I do not understand why they complain about the food as they pile their plates to the maximum and seem to be able to eat every morsel. The staff in this hotel seem to be overworked and a bit scarce . We enjoyed our stay , although we paid well over the odds for this break and did not recieve the AI service we thought we would. We would not return.

  Very nice and renovated hotel in Agios Nikolaos center

  Very nice hotel. Room at the 5th floor with amazing view over Agios Nikolaos bay. New fourniture (beds, etc..). Clean and nice. Very good experience. Easy parking in the coast street just 30 m from the hotel.

  Very pleasant stsy

  Stayed for 4 nights we were very satisfied with the cleanness of the room and the professionalism of the staff. I would expect the rooms a little bit bigger and comfortable but it was ok. I would recommend for couples.
