  Nice Hotel Complex

  We stayed 1 week at the Misto Complex which is actually a mix between hotel and private residences. There are only about 8 rooms on the first and 2nd floor which can be used as hotel rooms, the remaining are private residences. The staff is quite friendly though not everyone is english speaking. The food at the restaurant was also excellent but you have to be patient because it takes quite a while until it's prepared (around 45 minutes). I can definately recommend this place because it has also a nice gym, pool (indoor & outdoor). The room size is adequate and kept clean. It's about 10minutes by taxi to downtown Kharkiv. On friday & saturday there is a disco in the complex, therefore loud music until the early mornings.

  Business breakfast

  First time at this place and very pleased by friendly personal and tasty food. Although I had no opportunity to test their sport facilities, after my colleague it's one of the best place to practice in Kharkiv

  Excellent Hotel and Spa combination

  This Hotel is a very good choice when you are on a longer business trip and wants to be refreshed and regenerate from the travel toils. Hotel Guests are entitled to use the Spa section where a series of sophisticated treatments are available. First there is an outside pool around 25 m in a nicely parked area. It was surprisingly sunny on sept 23-24 so all sun- beds were occupied around the pool. Just a few meter walk and there is an other 25 m inside pool. They supply swimming palms if needed. At one end of this pool there as an other 12 meter pool with jacuzzy fittings, water and air inlets.One floor above, there is an absolutely well equipped gym with more 50 different self-torture equipment. Stuff is available for help, buffet to buy any vitamins, drinks. Hotel guests get an electronic pass plastic bracelet which opens and closes the electronic lock in the dressing room. This is directly beside the well sized and well heated steam sauna. All are clean, tidy, stuff continuously active. And you do not need to pay anything, all these are included in the room price. However, if you want, there are more available for a very reasonable price. You can book a good body massage, haircut, manicure-pedicure (important when you are in a long trip), and different kind of hydromassage treatments. On the top of all these are the menu items in the restaurant. World-best soups, salads and steaks are all represent the worldwide undervalued Russian kitchen culture. Excellent food on a moderate price level. These kind of sophisticated kitchen items are not available at other parts of the world just in the former CCCP countries..

  not quite ready for the international crowd

  for the most part, i really liked this hotel. with a few upgrades/changes it would be a truly world-class place. the room was wonderful , i HIGHLY recommend upgrading to a suite!!, the meals were wonderful , the laundry service was same day ! the pool and spa was really awesome also. now for the other part. 2 days we had brown water, smelled strongly of sulfur. no notice from the management as to what was going on, just BROWN water .. not slightly off white. i mean BROWN .. i did not feel comfortable taking a shower in it. forget using the faucet for my toothbrush. the staff tries to be very helpful, but i encountered very few who understood english at all. with my limited russian and sign language, i was able to get by, but even though there are english menus , the staff cant interpret them, so you have to get a regular menu and point at the same place on the page. this led to some very amusing situations i tell you ! the building cracks and pops like anything. whether the sun is heatin it, or cooling down at night, there is an almost incessant pop, crack, and snap all the time. if you are american, pay your reservation before you arrive. i travel with a lot of different cards (13 from various banks) , NONE of them worked. the rooms were large, clean, and well appointed. the staff did their best to be helpful and meet expectations. with a few tweaks i would love to stay here again. but i am kinda doubting it.

  Good hotel - bit far from center

  Fast and friendly check in - clean spacious room - well designed for the business traveller, good desk with many power outlets for charging. Big balcony and nice view. Good restaurant on site with excellent breakfast and all day service.
