  really no effort made by staff in what is a moderate hotel

  Arrived here late at night and checking in without any real concern was advised the previous guests had not left yet but they have booked me into another hotel for the night. OK so sometimes it goes wrong and they had arranged to transport me to the other hotel, more on another review but suffice to say it was nothing more than a grubby little dump. so after a very disturbed night i was transported back to the Edelweiss. The manageress did apologise but seemed worried when i said the other hotel was a dump. but they gave me free all inclusive upgrade from half board ..not really used as my friends were all staying at different hotels so was not expecting to be in the hotel a lot ok so after a brief check in process (now third check in ) got shown to room this was the first bright spot as it was clean and spacious with almost a sea view that i had booked. well it was clean then but the standard of cleaning through out the week was minimal, they didn't even wash glasses in the room but i did get clean sheets and towels which the other Brit guests said they didn't look see at the bar was an eye opener one grumpy bar staff who seemed most put out the serve you, ok so on to restaurant Dinner to put this simply if i was cooking and presenting food of this standard i would have been embarrassed. i was hoping this was a one of but the standard of food was atrocious, no real choices and the show cooking was laughable with then cooking Pork burgers and sausages only once did i see any meat being cooked and shokerooney it was very poor quality pork all fat and grizzle the regular cooking was dry and every nigh with chips ....odd but never seen a potato all week and every night some form of fatty gristle of port or dried out chicken. well quick escape to town by walking down a flight of steps and pathway to town very little light and very steep. Danger awaits those who don't pay attention. ok so next day (and everyday ) on to breakfast well what was supposed to be . the highlight was spam from a can and if you waited long enough a bit of toast, the scrambled eggs are served dangerously under cooked, you could not have made less effort to do food than in this hotel, in most hotels i have ever been in the staff usually make up for some appalling facilities ....not in this one they are the most grumpy put out service failing staff i have ever come across absolutely no customer service skills what so ever, i seen then frequently arguing with guests and that was when they we not ignoring. my advice to them all is to change career, funeral directors would be more suited as you are causing the death of this hotel overall one of the worst i have stayed in . don't go there

  Its very good place to relax with family. Staff was friendly, food very delicious, there's so many choises what to eat. Animators : Gosho, Viki, Guti, Pavel were very friendly and full of energy. Rooms was very clean and comfortable. I would like to get back in this hotel for more 100 times!

  Excellent hotel

  Very good hotel, very clean, excellent service from hotel staff and especially from the hotel manager Mrs. Violeta. The food is delicious and different every day There is a free daytime shuttle to the Golden Sands Center

  Good hotel

  First we liked the room, large and spacious, with a great view of the sea. Large swimming pool, clean and spacious. The hotel is somewhere in the second line, a short walk to the beach or the free of charge minibus. The food is good, diversified and enough, the main meals plus a snack between the meals (if you have the all inclusive package), in one of the evenings was an Italian menu. The staff in the restaurant very receptive, hard working and professionals. There are facilities for children, with playground, animators and swimming pool.

  Avoid at all costs

  The food here is nice if you like cabbage cold chips and pork. It seams like they have no staff to manage the guest experience and the staff that are here are miserable as sin if they arn't playing on mobile phones. We went for a walk into town and arrived back at 1030 and went straight to the bar, after queing for 5 mins the staff informed me that the bar was shut and we wouldn't be allowed a drink even though the people in front of me in the que got served! An absolute joke of an establishment and should be avoided at all cost. This was written on day 2 of our holiday
