  Mejorable en algunos aspectos

  El hotel Minos Village de Agia Marina (una carretera con cientos de bares, restaurantes, tiendas,.. sin el menor encanto) se encuentra situado a unos cien metros de la carretera principal y es muy tranquilo y el personal amable y diligente. El apartamento es amplio, limpio y con vistas a la piscina. Dispone de aire condicionado y de una minúscula cocina, donde te puedes preparar el desayuno. Las habitaciones son silenciosas hasta que a las 7 de la mañana el servicio de limpieza empieza a arrastrar el mobiliario de las habitaciones superiores. La piscina está impecable aunque no hay servicio gratuito de toallas, se tienen que pagar. El precio del apartamento no incluye el desayuno. El hotel ofrece un servicio gratuito de transporte en un carrito de golf hasta una playa cercana. Por cierto, el conductor se llama Stratos y estuvo viviendo 7 años en Barcelona.Habla perfectamente español y es un gran tipo! No entiendo como actualmente no se ofrece un servicio gratuito de wifi en todo el hotel. Te puedes conectar gratuitamente en la recepción del hotel, el resto de las instalaciones son de pago y a unos precios estratosféricos!!! El precio es un poco excesivo viendo las instalaciones y las facilidades que ofrece el hotel.

  Great accommodation for the price

  Just on our final night at this hotel which is a great little complex. Were in a studio room which is spacious, modern and sparkling clean. It has twin beds pushed together to make a double and the beds are very comfy which is unusual for hotel beds in Greece from my experience. Disappointingly our balcony faces out onto the road but this may be my own fault as I requested a top floor sunny balcony which we have, I just didnt realise that the sunnier balconies were on the road side! The side window of the room overlooks the hotel restaurant so on a morning we are woken by the cockerill over the road cock a doodle do-Ing and the scraping of chairs from the restaurant next door. Its not really bothered us as we wake early anyway but I could see it would be frustrating for those who like a sleep in. The pool is compact with only around 12 sun beds so I expect in high season you may struggle for a sun bed. The pool is also a bit cold to get into but once in its fine! We paid for Breakfast one morning but It was quite poor really. For the 7 we should have walked to a local restaurant where Im sure wed have got better but it filled a hole and was convenient as we wanted to be off early on that day. The hotel is in a good location close to several restaurants and about 5-10mins walk to the Main Street and beach. If I was in the area I would stay here again.

  Nothing like the brochure.

  My son, grandson and myself chose this property because it seemed to have everything we needed. The studio we had was nothing like the brochure. Brown decor. No proper cooking facilities. No saucepans. Two single beds and a fold up, creaky fold out bed with a 2 inch tatty mattress. Playground was on a slope leading into the pool. Plastic playhouse with a slide attached and a couple of boxes of Blox and other plastic bits. Dangerously close to pool. Couldn't use the pool. Surrounding area was like walking on an ice rink. Both my son and grandson slipped. We wondered why the pool area was always empty. Towels and linen were changed daily but the floor and glass areas were never cleaned. I cleaned both myself after the fourth day. Great area. Lots of lovely restaurants and close to the beach and town Centre. Quite an expensive resort. Would not recommend this property for families. I love Greece and luckily this wasn't my first visit or I would never return.

  Excellent location and value for money

  I stayed at the accommodation with my partner between 6th and 13 of October. On arrival, late in the evening, we were given a warm welcome and shown to a lovely well appointed apartment by Yannis who works in the bar. We only ate breakfast on the balcony choosing to eat other meals out. However there is enough basic equipment to self cater beyond this. The apartment was spacious kept spotlessly clean with regular linen and towel changes. The beds were very comfortable. The accommodation is on the edge of the old village where there are a number of really good quality reasonably priced tavernas. Access to the beach is a short walk but nothing that someone of moderate walking ability would not manage with ease. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful including providing clean towels and showering facilities on our day of departure so that we could freshen up due to a late return flight. We did not use the pool area a great deal but when we did we found it clean and well equipped with plenty of sun beds for everyone. There is a good bus service and some easily accessible walks in the local area. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the accommodation to others.

  Room 201

  A really clean and nice hotel. BUT we did request a balcony with a sunset or a nice view. SOooo disappointed, we arrived late so didnt really see it untill the morning. Well I've never had seen such a bad view,hotel bins electric pilions and buildings sites.and to top it all a cockerel all night.Room 201.and it was stuck out on a limb from the main hotel. Didnt go round the pool as it seem in the shade all day. Time of year I presume. Cant complain about anything else cleaninness, cleaners comfy bed breakfast all spot on. One suggestion I would make is the courtesy room needs improving, you could do with somewhere to sit and put your bags on to change instead of wet floors, you have the room to do it. The area for restaurants and choice in easy walking distance from the hotel was fantastic and beach which is 5 minutes away was brilliant. Eat most days in the beech bars.. hotel staff friendly and polite. Would I go back. No. Only because we never go back to the same place twice.. Would I recommend it yes. But not room 201
