  Excelente atención. Solo faltaría menú en español. Ideal para relajarse y descansar. La habitación familiar era amplia y supercomoda. Todo el personal fue muy atento y en todo momento trataron de ayudarnos con nuestras consultas.

  Stuck in the middle of nowhere

  This is a lovely hotel, modern and spacious with a lovely pool. Only problem is that it is stuck out in the middle of nowhere, which is fine if you have a car, but not so good if you don't. We didn't realize that the season finishes at the end of August in Italy; consequently there were no restaurants around and the nearest supermarket was a 25 minute walk away. If you wanted to go anywhere - just to the station, it was a 10 euro taxi ride away. The fact that it is so remote is not really mentioned in the advertisements. The hotel makes its money from hosting wedding receptions. These take place most evenings/afternoons and so we had to leave the pool area at lunch time generally to allow the staff to prepare. The wedding receptions were a bit of a conveyor belt affair and we felt that we had paid to use the facilities but were not able to do so. There was a beach nearby, but its not very nice and we were told by the life guard that we were not able to have the umbrella up due to the wind - so just burned instead!!. The camping site nearby had a bar that served lovely food - mainly just pizza and pasta but it was very good and reasonable. If it hadn't been for that bar, I think we would have starved. Its a bit of a stretch of the imagination to call this the Amalfi coast to be honest. So, nice hotel but would not go again.

  Wonderful

  We have just returned from an 8 night stay, half board at the Minerva Hotel in peastum Italy. Staff are all wonderful and really welcoming, and really can't do enough for you. Great breakfast with a wide choice ranging from cakes, pastries, fruit, cheese and salami. Soft drinks, tea and coffee. Eat as much as you like. Our room was super spacious with 2 large bedrooms, sitting room, balcony and car park space. Free Wi-Fi included. Swimming pool was amazing , just look at the photos. Virtually had it to ourselves for a lot of the time. There was only one wedding on the first day we arrived which did restrict our use, but there is a private beach just 5 minutes away. A menu with a choice of evening meal was given to us at breakfast. Nice choice and a good opportunity to sample a wide variety of southern Italian cuisine. The staff are more then happy to replace some of the courses with simple pasta dishes if it's not to the children's taste. If you fancy lunch Encla restaurant is a 2 minute walk away. Really nice and friendly and reasonably priced. The Greek temples are an absolute must see attraction and are around 7 minute taxi ride away (10 euro booked via hotel slightly cheaper if you do it yourself). A small mini market down the road which is well stocked. No free drinks included with main meal, but I think that's standard in Italy. 1 litre Bottled water costs 3.50 Euro. No bar by the pool, but the staff do come round asking if you would like a drink. Just don't forget to ask for milk with your tea. You may want to hire a car. Transfer time from Naples is around 1 hour and 20 minutes. A taxi will cost in the region of 140 Euro but you could use public transport. If you are after a relaxing holiday away from crowds you really can't go too wrong. Would we go again, absolutely, but will probably hire a car next time.

  Una porqueria

  Fuimos un grupo de 22 españoles para una boda los cuales los novios pagaban las habitaciones nada más llegar al hotel casi a las dos de la mañana nos requisaron los dni a todos por si acaso nos íbamos sin pagar el hotel ,llamando constantemente a los novios a ver cuando pasaban por recepción y eso q ya habían pagado parte de la habitación y tenían las tarjetas de crédito..,después a los novios les hicieron pagar de más Porq les tomaron el pelo habitaciones para una persona q podíamos a ver estado 4, 3 personas se pusieron enfermas después de beberse capuchinos vomitando todo el día imagino q la leche muy buena no estaría y las habitaciones feas y antiguas y la comida malísima

  End of exams treat with my son

  Just like to say thank you to the staff at Minerva resort hotel, excellent staff in particular Caterina who was really helpful planning our 5 days at the hotel with regards visits to Pompeii and Capri. Hotel is exceptionally clean and probably the best swimming pool Ive ever used, well designed for couples and Family, breakfast was simple but very nice, typical Italian breakfast. The grounds are stunning equally And the hotel is well positioned for all the major sights. Great base to explore from , equally the restaurants are excellent in the area, if you want to experience good food this is the area to visit.
