  Great staff service and hotel!!!

  Great hotel with very good rooms! Close to a main road with fantastic 24 hour petrol pump next door!!! And a good Indian Restaurant restaurant within 2 minutes of walking distance. Surrounding area of Deanshanger and Milton Keynes is just fantastic!!!!

  In the country - yet only 10 minutes from the City Centre.

  If you enjoy peace and quiet, and a comfortable bed, then this is the place. Away from the perpetual noise of the city and people, yet only 10 mins by car to the centre of Milton Keynes, or Buckingham. They offer an excellent breakfast, which will set you up for the day ! I will stop there again .

  Shockingly bad

  Believe the bad reviews. You get a feel of the place when you approach. The outside is totally unkempt and there is litter drifting around. And thats the best bit. Once we got inside reception there was an odd man sitting in an armchair (I think hes the proprietor). We checked in and were shown to our room. The first thing my boyfriend said was what a dump!. The second thing he said was this is a bio-hazard. The place was filthy (see pictures). So bad in fact that we decided not to stay. There was mould on the windows, a drawer front had fallen off, the grout in the bathrooms was all stained brown and the toilet was disgusting. The carpet had bits all over it (you wouldnt want to risk going barefoot) and there was a horrible shower curtain in the dingy bathroom - I thought everyone had burned them in the 1980s when they collectively realised what a bad idea they were. We asked for a refund (it was a staggering £91 a night) and the owner refused saying he would lose his commission. We got a refund later by contacting the booking agent. Then the icing on the cake was when the owner started hurling abuse at us as we left. All in all, a wonderful customer experience - up there with water boarding. The place needs completely overhauling - with a wrecking ball or fire.

  Lovely staff

  The only reason I'm not giving this hotel 5 stars is because the rooms do need refurbishing. But apart from that it was great. The room and the double bed were spacious and it had everything you need. (Lots of lovely hot water for the shower !!!) Plus there's plenty of parking space, no pesky stairs to navigate and the staff are really helpful.

  2 night stay

  I stayed at MK hotel while I attended a conference in Milton Keynes. I cannot complain for the price I paid. Ample free parking, friendly welcome in reception, controllable heating in the bedroom, comfi bed, plenty towels and very quiet. The full English breakfast was cooked on demand and was excellent. There was a choice of cereals and the tea was hot and strong. Compliments to the chef. The bathroom was adequate, lots of hot water and a good shower. The sealant needed replacing and the grouting needed a deep clean. A little TLC would make a big difference but for 2 nights it was serviceable.
